Event

The Premier Demo Event page differs across all four language versions — only the Asia pair says "early January 2027" and requires face photo registration, with merchandise "for participants only, Japanese version"

The same event is described very differently depending on the language.

The NARUTO CARD GAME official site carries the Premier Demo Event page in all four language versions, each dated October 13, 2026. In our October 13 article we compared the Japanese and English pages — but we had not covered the English(Asia) and Traditional Chinese pages.

Laying all four originals side by side today, three conditions appear only on the Asia pair: the start of the period, face photo registration, and the merchandise terms.

4Pages for the same eventOne per language version
4Different page titlesNo two agree
Early JanThe Asia pair's startEarliest of any region
2Pages requiring a face photoOnly the Asia pair

Basis for this article: everything below comes from four pages on the official site — Japanese 先行体験会, English Premier Demo Event, English(Asia) Premier Demo Deck Event and Traditional Chinese 高級示範牌組活動 — all checked October 20, 2026. Quotations follow each version’s wording. Plans may change.

1. Four pages, four names

VersionPage title (original)Date shown
Japanese (/jp/)先行体験会2026.10.13
English (/en/)Premier Demo EventOctober 13, 2026
English(Asia) (/asia-en/)Premier Demo Deck EventOctober 13, 2026
Traditional Chinese (/asia-tc/)高級示範牌組活動2026.10.13

Only English(Asia) includes “Deck.” The Traditional Chinese title 高級示範牌組活動 also contains 示範牌組 (demo deck), matching the English(Asia) naming.

The body text does not match its own heading, either. English(Asia) is headed “Premier Demo Deck Event” but its body reads “the Premium Demo Deck Event”; the English page is headed “Premier Demo Event” and its body reads “the Premium Demo Event.” Both English pages mix “Premier” in the heading with “Premium” in the body (the Japanese page has no such mix).

2. Three different periods — the Asia pair is earliest

VersionPeriod (original)
Japanese(no period section) Per-venue dates: 11 venues from Saturday, January 16 to Sunday, March 21, 2027
EnglishPremier Demo Event Wave 1: February 5 – 19, 2027 / Premier Demo Event Wave 2: February 19 – March 5, 2027
English(Asia)Early January (planned) / *More details coming soon
Traditional Chinese預計2027年1月上旬~ / ※詳情預計日後解禁

The Asia pair’s “early January 2027” is the earliest start of any of the four.

Start of the demo events as written in each language version (days from January 1, 2027)
English(Asia) / Chinese: early January The original says only 'early'5days
Japanese: first event day, January 16 Dragon Star Ikebukuro16days
English: Wave 1 opens February 5 Wave 2 from February 1936days

* “Early January” is an inherently vague phrase; the chart places it at January 5. The originals give no specific date.

So the same “early 2027 in-store demo events” are given start dates more than a month apart depending on the region. The Asia pair’s “early January” may well precede Japan’s first event day of January 16.

There is no official explanation of how these relate. We have no basis for declaring which region actually starts first; all that is confirmable is what the four pages say.

Note also that the Traditional Chinese page writes 預計2027年1月上旬~, specifying the year, while English(Asia) writes Early January (planned) with no year. Even whether to state the year is inconsistent between two pages with the same content.

3. Only the Asia pair requires face photo registration

This matters because it is a step that has to be completed before applying.

Only the English(Asia) and Traditional Chinese pages carry a face photo section.

A face photo registration is required for this event

*A face photo must be registered in advance to participate in this event. Please complete your registration as early as possible.

*If your profile does not display “Face Photo Verified” during the application period, you will not be able to apply for this event.

*The verification process may take one week or longer, so please register your face photo well in advance.

*Minors cannot register a face photo. However, they are still eligible to participate in the event, so please submit your application using your account.

The Traditional Chinese page carries the same content, including 「※未成年者無法進行臉部照片登錄。仍可參加活動,請從帳號進行報名。」

The Japanese and English pages have none of this. In our October 13 article we listed “whether BANDAI TCG+ face photo registration is required (not stated on the Japanese page)” as unannounced — and for the Asia region, the official answer is now required.

VersionFace photo registration
JapaneseNot mentioned
EnglishNot mentioned
English(Asia)Required (verification 1 week+; minors cannot register but may participate)
Traditional ChineseRequired (same)

Whether Japan’s Premier Demo Event requires face photo registration is still unannounced. One can infer from the Asia pages, but we do not state it as fact. For BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 in Tokyo, the festival’s official site does state that a BANDAI TCG+ registration with a face photo is a participation requirement (October 16 article). How to register is covered in our BANDAI TCG+ face photo registration guide.

4. The merchandise terms are strictest on the Asia pair

The two limited products (Premium Card Collection vol.00 -CHAKRA set- and Official Playmat -NARUTO vs. SASUKE-) appear on all four pages, but who may buy them, and how prices are written, differ.

VersionPriceWho may buyPer-person limitOther notes
Japanese¥1,650 / ¥3,850 (tax incl.)Sales will prioritise those who participatedOne per person“These products will also be sold outside this event”
English20 USD / 40 USD“enough merchandise … so all event participants will have the opportunity to purchase” / leftovers may go to the general publicNot statedLineup differs between Wave 1 and Wave 2; also sold at BCG Fest Orlando and London
English(Asia)Not stated“Purchase is available for event participants only.”“Each customer can purchase only one item.”“Products on sale at this event are the Japanese version.”
Traditional ChineseNot stated「※商品僅限活動參加者購買。」「※每人限購1個。」「※本活動發售的商品為日文版。」

Read together, the same two products fall into three tiers of accessibility.

  • The Japanese page is the loosest. It says participants will be “prioritised,” not that sales are restricted to them, and it explicitly adds that the products “will also be sold outside this event”
  • The English page sits in the middle. It says “We will prepare enough merchandise to accommodate the participating store’s capacity, so all event participants will have the opportunity to purchase the merchandise,” and then “If any merchandise remains after the event, the store may make it available for purchase to the general public.” No per-person limit is given
  • The Asia pair is the strictest. Purchase is for participants only, with no mention of general sales or sales at other events

“Products on sale at this event are the Japanese version”

Of the Asia pair’s notes, this is the one line most worth recording.

*Products on sale at this event are the Japanese version.

The Traditional Chinese page says the same: 「※本活動發售的商品為日文版。」

So it is now officially stated that the two limited products sold at the Asia demo events are the Japanese-language versions. Put beside the Lucca registration page we covered on October 15, a shape emerges.

SourceWhat it says about language
Official English(Asia) and Traditional Chinese pages (Premier Demo Event)Products sold at this event are the Japanese version
Lucca registration page (Play-system, Italy)“The official NARUTO CARD GAME products for the Western market will be available in English.”

Asia gets Japanese, the Western market gets English — readable across two separate pages. But the latter is a partner operator’s page, not naruto-cardgame.com, and whether Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese products will exist is not stated anywhere.

5. Only the English page lacks the participation gift section

VersionParticipation gift sectionCP-001 mentionedCondition (original)
JapaneseYes (with card image)「CP-001 チャクラカード」(no condition stated)
EnglishNo section at allNo—
English(Asia)Yes“CP-001 Chakra Card”“Only participants who complete the survey after the Tutorial Session are eligible”
Traditional ChineseYes“CP-001 Chakra Card”「※將於體驗會實施並回答問卷後發放」

The English page (/en/) has no participation gift section at all. A reader of the English page alone is never told that the Premier Demo Event gives out CP-001 (the card face and effect text of CP-001 were also published on the Japanese page).

There is also a mismatch inside the Asia pair’s condition. The page is titled “Premier Demo Deck Event,” yet the condition reads “after the Tutorial Session.” Tutorial Session is the name used for the demo sessions run at overseas event venues, which is a separate track from the in-store Premier Demo Event (we set the two apart in the October 13 article). The Traditional Chinese page renders it 體驗會, so the track names appear to be mixed in the original text.

6. Venue detail is overwhelmingly richest in Japanese

Granularity of venue information by language version (as of October 20, 2026)
  • 11 store names and dates (Japanese) 1versions(25%)
  • Only how to search (English) 1versions(25%)
  • Unannounced (English(Asia), Chinese) 2versions(50%)
VersionVenue (original)
Japanese11 store names with dates (Hokkaido through Fukuoka)
EnglishSearch your local store on TCG+! / More details coming soon.
English(Asia)Coming soon.
Traditional Chinese預計日後公開

Store names appear only on the Japanese page, unchanged since October 13. Meanwhile the application groups were rewritten today, adding the Kyoto venue to the “March dates” group (our other article today). Of the four, the Japanese page is both the most specific and the fastest to update.

The Traditional Chinese page carries one more line the other three do not.

※活動資訊中的遊戲標題設定為「NARUTO卡牌遊戲(JAPANESE)」。

(Event information is shown when the game title is set to 「NARUTO卡牌遊戲(JAPANESE)」)

A BANDAI TCG+ game title with “(JAPANESE)” appended appears in this one spot on the Traditional Chinese page and nowhere else. Later on the same page it says 「『BANDAI TCG+』上將遊戲設置為『NARUTO CARD GAME』」, so even within one page the naming is inconsistent. We have not been able to confirm the actual label in the app.

7. Which version should you read?

Which Premier Demo Event page to read, by region
  1. Living in JapanJapanese (/jp/). Venues, dates, application windows and yen prices are here only
  2. Living in Asia outside JapanEnglish(Asia) or Traditional Chinese. The face photo requirement and merchandise terms are here only
  3. Living in the WestEnglish (/en/). Wave periods, US prices and BCG Fest sales are here only
  4. AnywhereNo single page gives the whole picture (CP-001 is missing from the English page)

No one page is built to be sufficient. Check your own region’s page for procedures, and read all four side by side for the full picture.

8. Still unknown

  • When, and in which countries, the Asia “early January 2027” actually starts (venues remain “Coming soon”)
  • Whether Japan’s Premier Demo Event requires face photo registration (not stated on the Japanese page)
  • When applications open in Asia (Japan opens December 1 and the English page says “planned to open in January 2027,” but the Asia pair gives no application window)
  • Merchandise prices in Asia (neither Asia page gives a price)
  • Whether the English page lacks a participation gift section because CP-001 is not given out there, or because it was omitted
  • Whether 「NARUTO卡牌遊戲(JAPANESE)」 is the actual label in the app

Summary

  • The Premier Demo Event page exists in all four language versions, all dated October 13, and the titles and the contents all differ
  • The period is written three ways. The Asia pair’s “early January 2027” is the earliest of any region (Japan’s first day is January 16; English Wave 1 is February 5)
  • Only the Asia pair states that BANDAI TCG+ face photo registration is required, down to verification taking a week or more and minors being unable to register but still able to participate. The Japanese and English pages say nothing
  • Only the Asia pair restricts merchandise to participants and states that “products sold at this event are the Japanese version” — different terms from the Japanese page’s “will also be sold outside this event”
  • Only the English page lacks a participation gift section, and so never mentions CP-001
  • Only the Japanese page names the stores (11 venues)

Dates and applications are collected on our event calendar, and registration status on the preorder & lottery hub. If venues or application windows are added to the Asia pair, we will reflect them the same day.
