Lucca Has 63 Tutorial Sessions — The Full 45-Minute Schedule Appears on the Registration Page, an Italian Demo Deck Is Confirmed, and Playmats Move to 4 Booking Windows a Day
The column we had logged as “0 of 3 European events” is now filled for one of them.
On October 10 we wrote the following in the “What is still blank” section of our article on the three European events:
Tutorial Session timetables, sessions per day and capacity (PAX Aus has published all 22 sessions, while the three European events have 0)
On October 14, 2026, registration for those three Tutorial Sessions opened on a first-come, first-served basis. And today, October 15, opening the Lucca Comics & Games registration page shows every session of the five-day run, each with a start time.
Counted up, that is 63 sessions.
About this article: everything below is based on the NARUTO CARD GAME English official site’s Lucca Comics & Games Event Information and on the registration pages linked from that page’s “Tutorial Session Registration page” and “Playmat Ticket Page” buttons (run by Play-system / Gametrade in Italy), all checked on October 15, 2026. Quotes are the original English wording. Plans may change.
1. On October 10 the button was not open — now it leads to the Italian operator’s page
Start with the part we could not check on October 10.
Our article at the time said:
Lucca’s button is
class="button disable"with no link target. It is presumably built so as not to activate until registration opens, but we cannot confirm what will appear at 11:00 CEST on October 14.
As of today, that button is live. It does not point at BANDAI TCG+ directly, but at a page run by Play-system, the Italian operator (part of the Gametrade group, based in Ancona).
| Button on the official page | As of October 10 | Link target as of October 15 |
|---|---|---|
| Tutorial Session Registration page | No link (class="button disable") | play-system.eu, NARUTO CARD GAME – Lucca Comics & Games 2026 |
| Playmat Ticket Page | (the button did not exist) | play-system.eu, Reserve Playmat |
The official page still reads “Registration will take place on TCG+”, and that is not a contradiction: the play-system.eu page is an index of each session’s BANDAI TCG+ event URL, with the actual sign-up happening on TCG+.
- Prepare a BANDAI TCG+ accountJoining the "NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL" is also a condition for the gifts
- Button on the official Lucca pageTutorial Session Registration page
- The timetable on play-system.euPick one of 63 sessions
- That session's TCG+ event pageSign up at bandai-tcg-plus.com/event/…
2. The timetable — 13 sessions on four days, 11 on the last
The registration page’s “Tutorial Session Schedule” section lists one line per session, with its start time and TCG+ URL, grouped by day. Arranged by day, the start times are:
| Event day | Session start times | Sessions |
|---|---|---|
| Wednesday, October 28 | 09:15 / 10:00 / 10:45 / 11:30 / 12:15 / 13:00 / 13:45 / 14:30 / 15:15 / 16:00 / 16:45 / 17:30 / 18:15 | 13 |
| Thursday, October 29 | as above | 13 |
| Friday, October 30 | as above | 13 |
| Saturday, October 31 | as above | 13 |
| Sunday, November 1 | 09:15 / 10:00 / 10:45 / 11:30 / 12:15 / 13:00 / 13:45 / 14:30 / 15:15 / 16:00 / 16:45 | 11 |
63 in total. Every gap between start times is 45 minutes, matching the page’s “Sessions: Every 45 minutes”. Duration is given as “Duration: 30–45 minutes”, and participation is free.
Only the final day, Sunday November 1, has no 17:30 or 18:15 session. The likely reason is that Lucca Comics & Games closes earlier on its last day, but the registration page offers no explanation.
It is worth noting that the official site carries no session count and no times at all. The Lucca page on the English official site goes as far as the registration method and the one-per-person limit, with “Join our Tutorial Session, and learn how to play in a fun, immersive way.” — the timetable is only visible if you open the registration page.
For comparison: PAX Aus had 22 sessions, Lucca has 63
That brings the number of demo events whose timetable we have confirmed to two.
| Event | Run | Sessions | Where the timetable is published |
|---|---|---|---|
| PAX Aus 2026 | October 9–11 (3 days) | 22 (8 an hour on Friday and Saturday, 6 on Sunday) | The Australian operator TAK Games’ page |
| Lucca Comics & Games 2026 | October 28 – November 1 (5 days) | 63 (45-minute spacing) | The Italian operator Play-system’s page |
In both cases the timetable appears on the regional operator’s page rather than the official site. Lucca, two days longer, also runs more sessions per day, giving close to three times the slots.
3. An Italian Demo Deck can be chosen — a first in our records
What caught our eye before the timetable was the registration page’s “Choose Your Demo Deck” section.
During your Tutorial Session, you will be able to play using either an: Italian Demo Deck or English Demo Deck
It continues:
The Italian NARUTO CARD GAME Demo Deck has been created exclusively for this promotional activity. The official NARUTO CARD GAME products for the Western market will be available in English.
Until now, the only way the official site had ever split Demo Decks was by character.
| Source | How Demo Decks are split |
|---|---|
| Japanese official site, “先行体験会” (Premier Demo Event) | Two kinds: 「うずまきナルトデッキ」 and 「うちはサスケデッキ」 |
| English official site, “Premier Demo Event” | Naruto Deck / Sasuke Deck |
| English official site, “Lucca Comics & Games” | (no mention of Demo Deck kinds; only the note that they cannot be taken home) |
| Lucca’s registration page | Italian / English (by language) |
This is the first mention of a language split in Demo Decks in our records. How it relates to the two character decks — whether there are four combinations, or two decks split only by language — is stated neither on the registration page nor on the official site.
The statement that official products for the Western market will be in English is also worth logging. Our coverage of the June 2027 launch lineup had confirmed the simultaneous worldwide release, but which language editions would ship remained unannounced. The sentence on the registration page does speak to the product’s language, but it is not an announcement on the official site (naruto-cardgame.com), so we treat it as wording on an operating partner’s page.
4. Arrive late and your seat moves on — the waiting-list rule is spelled out
The registration page also sets out how sessions run on the day, another thing absent from the official site.
Each Tutorial Session will also have a waiting list. If a registered participant is not present when the session begins, their place will be assigned to the first available person on the waiting list.
If you arrive late, your reservation will no longer guarantee access to that Tutorial Session.
In other words, a reservation guarantees entry if you are there at the time, and can lapse the moment you are not. The page explains the reason as keeping sessions running on time and giving all participants the best possible experience.
The wording on duplicate registrations also goes further than the official site’s.
| Item | Official site (naruto-cardgame.com) | Registration page (play-system.eu) |
|---|---|---|
| Per-person limit | One event for the whole convention | One Tutorial Session for the whole convention |
| If breached | Exclusion from all NARUTO CARD GAME Tutorial Sessions | Multiple registrations by the same participant are automatically cancelled |
5. Playmats run on 4 windows a day across 5 days — 20 in total
On October 10 we published a table working backwards from the official page’s example (“tickets for Wednesday, October 28 will be available from Wednesday, October 21, and tickets for Thursday, October 29 will be available from Thursday, October 22”) to the days tickets would be released.
Today confirms those dates were right. It also shows the system is finer-grained than we had it.
The Reserve Playmat page lists all 20 booking windows with dates and times (all showing “Coming soon” as of today).
Reservations will open progressively from October 21 to October 25, 2026, with four reservation windows opening each day at: 10:00 · 12:00 · 14:00 · 16:00
Each reservation day corresponds to the event day exactly one week later, from October 28 to November 1, 2026.
Laid out, the correspondence is as follows (all Italian time / Europe/Rome — the page states “All times use the Italian time zone (Europe/Rome).”).
| Booking window opens | Purchase and collection |
|---|---|
| Wed, October 21, 10:00 / 12:00 / 14:00 / 16:00 | Wed, October 28, at the same times |
| Thu, October 22, 10:00 / 12:00 / 14:00 / 16:00 | Thu, October 29, at the same times |
| Fri, October 23, 10:00 / 12:00 / 14:00 / 16:00 | Fri, October 30, at the same times |
| Sat, October 24, 10:00 / 12:00 / 14:00 / 16:00 | Sat, October 31, at the same times |
| Sun, October 25, 10:00 / 12:00 / 14:00 / 16:00 | Sun, November 1, at the same times |
The point is that booking fixes the hour at which you buy on site. The official page’s “Each ticket reserves a time slot to purchase one playmat on site”, which we quoted on October 10, has now appeared as concrete times.
The purchase conditions are stated too.
- Purchase and collection on site only (“Purchase and collection will take place exclusively on site”). No shipping
- Electronic payments only (“Electronic payments only.”)
- A Lucca Comics & Games admission ticket for the chosen day is required
- A maximum of one playmat per person for the whole event, with checks stated to prevent the same person buying or collecting more than one
- Anything left over from cancellations and no-shows returns to the same booking page from approximately 17:00 on each event day (“starting at approximately 17:00 each event day, subject to availability”)
That last point did not exist as of October 10: it means there is a late-afternoon window each event day to catch that day’s cancellations.
The price is as given on the official site, US$35 (excl. tax) (the MSRP figure on the Lucca page). We have not yet been able to confirm a local-currency price for the European venues.
6. Two places where the wording does not line up
Before reading this as breaking news, two points where taking the original wording at face value produces a conflict.
The opening time is given two ways on the same page
Lucca’s registration page states the registration opening time in two places, with different values.
| Where | Original wording |
|---|---|
| Official site (naruto-cardgame.com), Lucca page | “at 11:00 AM CEST on Wednesday, October 14” |
| Registration page, Tutorial Sessions section | “Registration opens October 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM CEST” |
| Registration page, Tutorial Session Registration section | “Registration opens October 14, 2026 – 11:00 AM (Rome Time)” |
Two of the three say 11:00, one says 10:00. We take the official site’s wording (11:00 AM CEST) as our basis, while logging the inconsistency within the registration page. Either way registration has already opened, so there is no practical consequence for anyone applying now.
The release window still reads “Summer 2027”
The top of the registration page reads:
Ahead of its official Summer 2027 release, visitors will have the excluisve opportunity to experience the new card game for the first time
This conflicts with the official site’s current wording. The official site updated its roadmap to June 2027 on October 13, and the English top page reads “Arriving in June 2027”.
| Page | Release wording (checked October 15, 2026) |
|---|---|
| Official site, English top page | June 2027 |
| Official site, Japanese top page | 2027.06 / Arriving in June 2027 |
| Lucca registration page (play-system.eu) | Summer 2027 |
The registration page appears simply not to have been updated. We go with the official site’s June 2027.
7. SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week are still unread
Registration opened for three events, but as of today we have confirmed a timetable for only one of them, Lucca.
| Event | Registration channel | Timetable status |
|---|---|---|
| SPIEL Essen (October 22–25) | External online shop, Weeztix | Unconfirmed |
| Paris Games Week (October 22–25) | External online shop, Weeztix | Unconfirmed |
| Lucca Comics & Games (October 28 – November 1) | BANDAI TCG+ (indexed on play-system.eu) | All 63 sessions confirmed |
The Weeztix storefronts used by Essen and Paris Games Week require JavaScript, and our checking environment could not read their contents (session lists or remaining places). The two official pages carry no timetable either. Anyone targeting those venues will need to open the Weeztix storefront directly in a browser.
8. What is still unknown
The columns still blank for Lucca as of today:
- Capacity per session (the page only says “Places for each session are limited”, with no figure)
- The daily playmat allocation (only “A limited number … will be available each day”)
- A version name for the CP-001 Chakra Card (nothing like “-Gen Con 2026 Ver.-” on the registration page either)
- Remaining stock in each booking window, and a euro price for the playmat
- How the Italian Demo Deck relates to the Naruto / Sasuke decks (two decks by language, or four combinations)
- Any listing on the Lucca Comics & Games site itself (we find no mention of the NARUTO CARD GAME on the event’s own site as of today)
- A Japanese-language version of the page (the Lucca page exists only on the English site at
/en/; the gap between the Japanese and English news lists continues)
For the record, the registration page gives the location as “Gametrade × Bandai Card Games Monographic Pavilion, Piazza Santa Maria” (inside a pavilion dedicated to the NARUTO CARD GAME). The official site’s Location stops at “Piazza Santa Maria, Lucca, Italy”, with no pavilion name.
Summary
- Lucca Comics & Games 2026 runs 63 Tutorial Sessions: 13 a day from October 28 to 31 (09:15–18:15) and 11 on November 1 (09:15–16:45), spaced 45 minutes apart, 30–45 minutes each, free of charge
- The timetable column we had logged as “0 of 3 European events” is now filled for Lucca. The official site still carries none of it; it appears on the regional operator’s page, exactly as PAX Aus’ 22 sessions did
- Demo Decks can be played in Italian or English. A language split in Demo Decks is a first in our records, and the page also states that official products for the Western market will be in English
- Sessions run on a waiting list. If you are not present when a session begins your seat passes to the next person, and arriving late does not guarantee access
- Playmats are reservation-only. Four windows open each day from October 21 to 25 at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 Italian time, and each window maps to the same time slot exactly one week later. On-site electronic payment only, one per person, admission ticket required, and cancellations return from about 17:00 on each event day
- Two pieces of wording do not line up: the opening time (10:00 and 11:00 both appear on the registration page; the official site says 11:00 AM CEST) and the release window (the registration page says “Summer 2027”, the official site June 2027). We follow the official site on both
- Capacity is unannounced. The SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week timetables remain unconfirmed because their registration storefront (Weeztix) requires JavaScript
Lucca’s first playmat booking window opens at 10:00 Italian time on Wednesday, October 21. We list each window on our pre-order and lottery hub and will update it as the situation is confirmed. The next major information release is Jump Festa 2027 (December 19–20, 2026, Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall).
