The top page of the official NARUTO site (naruto-official.com) now carries a countdown timer that links to the official panel listing for New York Comic Con 2026 (NYCC).

The panel on the other end of that link is titled “NARUTO: What’s Next?” — and its description states plainly that it will deliver the latest updates on “the NARUTO CARD GAME.”

The July 29 roadmap only promised “more new information” at NYCC. Now the slot, date, time and room are all pinned down.

2. The official site’s countdown points to the same moment

5:00 PM on October 10 in New York is 6:00 AM on Sunday, October 11 in Japan.

That is not our arithmetic — the countdown on the NARUTO official site targets exactly that moment. The markup behind the timer carries this value, and the label under it reads “2026.10.11 (JP)”:

In other words, the official countdown is a countdown to this panel.

3. First time a card game reveal has been pinned to a slot

This is the significant part.

Until now, everything officially confirmed about NYCC came from the English official site update dated August 7: booth #2705, tutorial sessions, participant gifts, playmat sales — all of it on the demo side. The July 29 roadmap said “more new information” would come at NYCC, but not when or where.

With this listing, a 60-minute slot covering “the anime, the NARUTO CARD GAME, and other exciting new projects” is now fixed at 5:00 PM on October 10. For anyone waiting on card game news, it is the only reveal window currently tied to a date.

One caveat: nothing has been said about what will actually be announced. The listing promises “the latest updates” and nothing more — whether that means product details, new cards, or release specifics is unannounced.

4. A signing with the same two guests earlier that day

The NYCC schedule also lists a signing session with Junko Takeuchi and Noriaki Sugiyama on the same day.

That session is unrelated to the card game, but both guests appearing twice in one day is a useful signal about the scale of the panel.

5. The card game official site still says nothing

[Added September 29, 2026] This section describes the situation at publication (August 20). On September 29 we found that the card game official site’s English NYCC page had gained a listing for the panel. The details are in the section that follows this one, “[Added September 29, 2026] The card game official site lists the panel now.” The original text is left below unchanged.

As of today, naruto-cardgame.com does not mention the panel at all.

• The English NYCC 2026 event page is unchanged since August 7 and still covers only booth #2705, tutorials, gifts and playmat sales
• The Japanese site (/jp/) still shows two news items dated 2026.07.29 as its newest, with no NYCC page at all

The regional differences between the official site’s language versions continue. Today’s information comes from the franchise’s official site and the convention organizer’s official schedule instead.

[Added September 29, 2026] The card game official site lists the panel now

Checking on September 29, 2026, we found a Panels block added to the bottom of the English NYCC 2026 event page. It reads:

When it was added is not stated anywhere official

The page’s posting date still reads “August 07, 2026”, and it does not surface as a new item in the news list. Nothing official says when the Panels block appeared. Here is what we can document:

Rewriting a page’s contents without touching its posting date is the same behaviour as the five pages rewritten together on September 19. Watching the official news list is not enough to catch changes to these event pages.

Two things NYCC lists that the card game site does not

The card game site’s version is shorter than NYCC’s own panel page.

• No start time. Only the date (Saturday, October 10, 2026) and the room (North-Level 5: Empire Stage). To learn that this is 6:00 JST on October 11, you still have to read NYCC’s page
• No mention of the limited-quantity door giveaway that NYCC’s description includes

Also unchanged: there is still no NYCC event page on the Japanese site (/jp/news/nycc-2026.php returns 404), and its news list has not moved since 2026.07.29. The Asia English and Traditional Chinese versions return 404 as well. The panel listing exists only on the English version.

[Added September 30, 2026] A worldwide livestream on the official YouTube channel has been announced

On September 29, 2026 the NARUTO official site (naruto-official.com) announced that this stage will be livestreamed worldwide. That settles the streaming question this article listed as unannounced in section 6.

The official wording is:

From 6:00 AM JST on Sunday, October 11, the stage will be livestreamed worldwide on the NARUTO / BORUTO official YouTube channel

Two further points came with it:

• The agenda is now stated in a Japanese-language official source. Two items: “worldwide first look” information on a completely new anime, and “the latest information on the NARUTO CARD GAME,” scheduled for release in 2027. This is the first Japanese-language official source to name the card game slot — at this article’s publication only the English NYCC schedule did
• A production-side producer joins the guests. At publication the listing named two voice actors; the announcement adds 富永禎彦, an executive producer at Studio Pierrot’s PIERROT FILMS (the English announcement gives the surname “Tominaga” only), and then says “and more”

Whether an archive (replay) will be available is still unannounced, and the card game official site (naruto-cardgame.com) says nothing about the stream. Details are in our September 30 article.

6. Still unannounced

[Added September 30, 2026] This section describes the situation at publication (August 20). Of “whether the panel will be streamed or archived,” the streaming half was settled by the official announcement of September 29 (see the section above). The original text is left below unchanged.

• What the card game update will actually contain — no product, card, or release detail has been stated
• How the “Reservation Needed” process works, and when reservations open. The schedule carries the tag but no procedure
• Whether the panel will be streamed or archived. The schedule entry lists no stream link (→ streaming is confirmed; an archive is still unannounced)
• What the door giveaway is
• When the information will be published in Japanese (card game official site / official X) (→ the franchise’s own official site published it in Japanese on September 29; the card game official site still has not)
