PAX Aus 2026 Tutorial Sessions Switch to Advance Sign-Up on TCG+ — First-Come Registration Opens September 20 at 11:00 AEST, Playmat Now a Participant Raffle. NYCC Moves to Morning Tickets, the Three European Pages Now Say "To Be Announced"

On September 19, 2026 (06:40 UTC) the official English X account (@narutotcg_eng) posted an event announcement for the PAX Aus 2026 Tutorial Sessions. Registration opens on Sunday, September 20 at 11:00 AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time; 10:00 JST) on BANDAI TCG+, first come, first served.

At the same time, it turns out that the event pages on the English official site have been rewritten without their dates changing. Not only the PAX Aus page: the New York Comic Con 2026 page and the three European pages have changed as well. The wording we reported on August 8 and September 5 — “registration on-site on the day” and “playmat sold directly at the booth” — no longer appears on any of the current pages.

About this article: everything below is based on the official English X post of September 19, the five event pages on the English NARUTO Card Game official site, and the page of TAK Games, the Australian operator linked from the official PAX Aus page (all confirmed on September 19, 2026). The “before” wording is what we quoted in our August 8 and September 5 articles and what we confirmed on September 18. Plans may change again.

PAX Aus 2026 — from on-site sign-up to advance, first-come registration on TCG+

The post reads, in short:

NARUTO CARD GAME Tutorial Sessions are coming to PAX Australia 2026. Registrations open at 11:00 AM AEST on September 20 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A BANDAI TCG+ account is required, so set yours up in advance. Participants will be entered into a raffle for a “NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027-”, and winners will be allowed to purchase one playmat. Participation requires entry to PAX Aus.

The playmat raffle is described as follows:

Participants who attend a Tutorial Session will be entered into a raffle for the opportunity to purchase a Playmat. The raffle will be held after the final Tutorial Session each day, and each winning opportunity will be valid only for that day. The lucky players selected will have until the close of the booth at approx. 9pm Friday and Saturday, and until show close at 6pm Sunday to purchase their playmat.

So at PAX Aus, you cannot buy the playmat without attending a tutorial session, and even then it is a raffle. The August arrangement — “buy it at the booth for $35 without attending a tutorial” — is gone for PAX Aus. The price (MSRP $35 +tax) and the “one per person, limited quantities each day” line are unchanged.

How registration works — the link goes to TAK Games

The “Registration Page” button on the official page leads to TAK Games, which runs Bandai’s card game organised play in Australia (Naruto Card Game | TAK Games). That page lists the TCG+ event URL for every time slot.

The TAK Games page adds details the official page does not have:

• Sessions run every hour, with 45 minutes of play time each
• Playmat distribution is also managed through TCG+: participants are scanned into a TCG+ lottery each day
• The links have been up since Friday, September 18, but do not direct to the events until registration opens at 11:00 AEST on September 20

Neither page states the capacity of each session.

NYCC 2026 changed too — morning tutorial tickets and a retail ticket for the playmat

The New York Comic Con 2026 page has also been rewritten while keeping its “August 07, 2026” date. The tutorial section now reads:

A tutorial session ticket is required to participate in a Tutorial Session. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis each morning when the venue opens at [BANDAI Namco Naruto Booth #3001]. Please note that this is a different location from [BANDAI CARD GAMES Booth #2705], where the Tutorial Sessions will take place.

And the playmat:

A retail ticket is required to purchase a Playmat. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis each morning when the venue opens at [BANDAI CARD GAMES Booth #2705].

In short, NYCC now has two booths with different roles:

• Bandai Namco Naruto Booth #3001: where tutorial session tickets are handed out (each morning, first come first served)
• BANDAI CARD GAMES Booth #2705: where the tutorial sessions take place and where playmat retail tickets are handed out (each morning, first come first served)

The broad “sign up at the venue on the day” framing still holds, but it is now explicit that if you miss the morning ticket handout, you can neither attend nor buy that day. Unlike PAX Aus, there is no advance registration. Booth #3001 is, as far as our records go, the first time that number has appeared.

The three European pages dropped “on-site” and now say “to be announced”

When we checked the SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca Comics & Games pages on September 18, all three still said “Registration for the Tutorial Sessions is planned to take place on-site on the day of the event.” As of September 19, all three say instead:

Information on how to participate in the Tutorial Sessions will be announced at a later date. Please stay tuned for further updates.

The same applies to the playmat: “Information on how to purchase the NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027- will be announced at a later date.” The price ($35 +tax) and the “one per person, limited quantities each day” line remain.

So for the three European events, whether it will be on-site, advance registration like PAX Aus, or morning tickets like NYCC is now open. SPIEL Essen also has a separate influencer and media event we added on September 18, but the public tutorial sessions are back to “unannounced.”

How the CP-001 route breakdown changes

Our CP-001 Chakra Card give-away roundup sorted the fourteen occasions into “7 lottery, 5 on-site sign-up, 1 advance ticket, 1 first-come.” After this rewrite, the five on-site occasions split apart.

The gifts themselves (CP-001 plus a logo sticker at NYCC and PAX Aus, CP-001 alone at the three European events) and the eligibility condition (registration to the “NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL” on TCG+ plus a survey) are unchanged on all five pages.

Notes for readers outside Australia

• Time zone: 11:00 AEST on September 20 is 01:00 UTC and 10:00 JST the same day (AEST is UTC+10). Victoria moves to daylight time (AEDT, UTC+11) on October 4, so local time during PAX Aus itself is one hour further ahead.
• TCG+ account: a BANDAI TCG+ account is required. Whether the face photo registration required for the BCG Fest lotteries also applies to PAX Aus registration is not stated on either page.
• Not in the news feed: because none of the five pages changed its date, the official news list gives no sign of the update. Our own official-site watcher (which monitors the news list) did not catch it either; the change surfaced through the X post.
• The Japanese official X account (@narutotcg_jp) had not posted the same information as of September 19, and the Japanese official site’s news feed is still dated July 29.
