Details Published for Three European Events — Tutorial Sessions and CP-001 at SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca, Plus the Playmat's First European Sale
The news feed on the English official site was updated three times over on September 4, 2026.
The three European events that until now existed only as a “Tutorial Sessions planned” slot on the official roadmap — SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca Comics & Games — all received dedicated pages on the same day.
The gap we flagged in yesterday’s article — “these three have no dedicated pages, and whether their participation gift is CP-001 is unannounced” — was filled the very next day.
Updated September 18, 2026: on September 17 (local time) the official English X account posted a call for applications to a “creator session” for TCG creators attending SPIEL Essen 2026. The application form states that the event takes place on Thursday, October 22 and applications close on September 27. As this is separate from the public tutorial sessions, we have added the section “SPIEL Essen also hosts an influencer and media event”.
Updated September 19, 2026: the three European pages’ “registration planned on-site on the day” and “playmat sold at the venue” wording has since been replaced with “the participation and purchase methods will be announced at a later date” (page dates unchanged). The on-site and venue-sale statements below are the September 5 record. PAX Aus has also moved to advance registration on TCG+ and NYCC to morning ticket handouts. The previous update to the English news feed was “BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 in LONDON has been announced.” on August 28.

The first thing worth noticing: SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week run on exactly the same dates (October 22–25). They are held in parallel in Germany and France across the same four days, so you can only attend one.
As for the venues, no hall or booth number appears on any of the three pages. New York Comic Con 2026 remains the only event with a specific position published (“Booth location: #2705”). Lucca’s stated venue, Piazza Santa Maria, is a square in the city of Lucca rather than an exhibition hall.
Tutorial sessions — free, on-site sign-up at all three
The tutorial section is almost word-for-word identical across the three pages.

The confirmed conditions:
- Admission: Free
- Registration is planned to take place on-site on the day of the event. Not an advance lottery, not an advance ticket
- Demo decks are not available to take home
- One tutorial session per person for the whole convention
- To receive the gift you must be registered to the “NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL” on TCG+ and complete a survey after the session
- Participation prizes are limited to one per person, regardless of how many sessions you book or attend
Session timetables, the number of sessions per day, and capacity are unannounced for all three. Each page says only “Please stay tuned for further details.”
Participant gifts — the European pages list CP-001 alone
This is the difference most worth pinning down.
The participant-gift wording does not match between the two earlier pages and the three new ones.

“Giveaways” is a separate track from the tutorial: follow any official social media channel or register for the “NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL” on BANDAI TCG+ and receive a free sticker. Unlike the participant gift, you do not have to play a tutorial to get it.
Read literally, then:
- NYCC includes a sticker as a tutorial gift but has no follow-based giveaway
- PAX Aus, SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week have the follow-based giveaway
- Lucca alone never mentions a logo sticker — not in the participant gifts, not in a Giveaways section
That makes Lucca the only one of the five venues where a sticker appears nowhere in the text.
You cannot, however, conclude from this that Lucca will not hand out stickers. All three pages close with “Please be aware that the contents of the activities may change without notice,” so an absence in the text is not an announcement of absence. What can be said today stops at “it is not written officially.”
Merchandise — the playmat’s first European sale
All three pages carry the same product under “Merchandise” on identical terms.

This playmat was first announced on the Gen Con 2026 page published July 8, but at Gen Con you could only buy it with the purchase voucher included in the tutorial gift set. The NYCC and PAX Aus pages published August 7 changed that to direct booth sales with no voucher, and the three European pages now apply the same terms in Europe.
Venue sales are therefore confirmed at five venues (NYCC, PAX Aus, SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week, Lucca). General retail or online sales have still not been announced.
CP-001 give-away occasions: from nine to twelve
Yesterday’s article counted nine occasions confirmable in official primary sources. With these three added, the total is twelve.
The shape of the breakdown has changed too. At nine occasions the lottery route was the single largest (5); on-site sign-up has now grown from two to five, making it tied for the most common route. The geographic spread widens from eight countries and regions to eleven.
Meanwhile, there are still zero give-away occasions in Japan. The BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 Tokyo stop reads only “Early 2027,” with dates, venue and NARUTO Card Game programming all unannounced.
Note also that the three European pages carry no version name (nothing like “-Gen Con 2026 Ver.-”). Only two occasions — Gen Con 2026 and Yankee Stadium — have an officially published version name, and that has not changed.
These are not “new info reveals”
To set expectations: no new cards or products are scheduled to be revealed at these three events.
On the roadmap on the English official top page, all three are labelled “Tutorial Sessions planned.” The only entries labelled “New info reveals” are Gen Con 2026 in late July and New York Comic Con 2026 on October 8–11.
So for the rest of the year, the event where official new information is signposted is NYCC, and the three European events that follow are places to play the game, not to learn about it.
SPIEL Essen also hosts an influencer and media event (October 22, applications close September 27)
Added September 18, 2026
On September 17, 2026 (local time) the official English X account (@narutotcg_eng) posted a call for applications to an exclusive “NARUTO CARD GAME creator session” for TCG creators attending SPIEL Essen 2026. The attached image is titled “SPIEL Essen Influencer & Media Event”.
According to the post, selected creators receive guided gameplay assistance, dedicated filming time, creator materials and an exclusive gift kit.
The link at the end of the post leads to an application form on monday.com hosted by the event agency CS International GmbH, titled “SPIEL Essen Naruto TCG Influencer & Media Event 22.10.2026”. The form’s introduction states the following.

Submitting an application does not guarantee participation, and selected applicants will receive content guidelines, disclosure requirements and embargo policies before the event. The form asks for a full legal name, a contact email, links and follower counts for each social account (or a media outlet and its reach), and an optional BANDAI TCG+ account ID. It also states that data may be shared with “Bandai as the official franchise partner” where required.
In other words, this is an invitation-only event separate from the free, walk-up public tutorial sessions listed on the September 4 official page. Two points matter for anyone following the game from afar.
- October 22 is now a date on which information may surface via creators. Gen Con 2026 also had a Bandai Content Creator event, and photos of the official playmat handed out there revealed the turn structure and board zones. This time, however, the form explicitly mentions embargo policies, so it is unknown when participants’ content will go public
- The contents of the “exclusive gift kit” are unannounced. Nothing says whether it includes a playmat as at Gen Con
As of today (September 18) the event does not appear in the news feed of the English official site, and the Japanese official X account (@narutotcg_jp) has not posted about it. The only primary sources are the official English X post and the application form.
All three pages exist only in English
One last note for anyone tracking this from outside the English region.
These three pages exist only on the English site (/en/). The same URLs under the Japanese site (/jp/), the Asian English site (/asia-en/) and the Traditional Chinese site (/asia-tc/) all return 404 as of today.
The Japanese official site’s news feed has not been updated since July 29, 2026. Everything announced after the July 29 reveal — Yankee Stadium, NYCC, PAX Aus, the BCG Fest cities, and now these three European events — has been published in English only.
Summary
