Details Published for Three European Events — Tutorial Sessions and CP-001 at SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca, Plus the Playmat's First European Sale [Corrected October 19: Essen and Paris Games Week Have Published Their Positions Inside the Venue]

The news feed on the English official site was updated three times over on September 4, 2026.

The three European events that until now existed only as a “Tutorial Sessions planned” slot on the official roadmap — SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca Comics & Games — all received dedicated pages on the same day.

The gap we flagged in yesterday’s article — “these three have no dedicated pages, and whether their participation gift is CP-001 is unannounced” — was filled the very next day.

Updated October 10, 2026: all three pages were rewritten without their dates changing, and the tutorial registration method and opening time are now known. All three open first-come on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

• SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week: through the external online shop Weeztix, at “06:00 PM CET on Wednesday, October 14.” The links to the registration pages are already live
• Lucca Comics & Games: on TCG+, at “11:00 AM CEST on Wednesday, October 14.” Its registration-page button, however, is still unlinked (disable) ([Updated October 15] it is now live; see below)
• A Logo Sticker has been added to Lucca’s participant gifts. The passage where this article concluded on September 5 that “Lucca is the only one of the five venues where a sticker appears nowhere” is wrong as of today; a correction has been added in the participant-gifts section below
• The playmat purchase method now differs at all three

Details are collected in the section “[Updated October 10] Registration opens October 14” below. Separately, a new Dubai event — Tabletop.me (November 6–8) — was added to the official site on the same October 9 date (today’s article).

Updated September 18, 2026: on September 17 (local time) the official English X account posted a call for applications to a “creator session” for TCG creators attending SPIEL Essen 2026. The application form states that the event takes place on Thursday, October 22 and applications close on September 27. As this is separate from the public tutorial sessions, we have added the section “SPIEL Essen also hosts an influencer and media event”.

Updated September 19, 2026: the three European pages’ “registration planned on-site on the day” and “playmat sold at the venue” wording has since been replaced with “the participation and purchase methods will be announced at a later date” (page dates unchanged). The on-site and venue-sale statements below are the September 5 record. PAX Aus has also moved to advance registration on TCG+ and NYCC to morning ticket handouts. In the official news list all three are categorised EVENT and dated September 04, 2026.

The previous update to the English news feed was “BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 in LONDON has been announced.” on August 28.

Dates and venues

The first thing worth noticing: SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week run on exactly the same dates (October 22–25). They are held in parallel in Germany and France across the same four days, so you can only attend one.

As for the venues, no hall or booth number appears on any of the three pages. New York Comic Con 2026 remains the only event with a specific position published (“Booth location: #2705”). Lucca’s stated venue, Piazza Santa Maria, is a square in the city of Lucca rather than an exhibition hall.

Corrected October 19, 2026: the paragraph above is wrong for SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week. Three days before the doors open, we rechecked the Location field on all three pages. The originals read:

Essen’s H5 is the hall at Messe Essen and J500 the stand within it; Paris Games Week spells out Booth N°. Lucca is the only one of the three still without a hall or booth number, so this article’s “unannounced at all three” was wrong.

We cannot establish when they were first published. The Wayback Machine holds no snapshot of either page, so there is no way to check how they read earlier. Our own pre-order and lottery hub already recorded H5 J500 and Booth N° E8 on October 15, meaning the two statements on this site contradicted each other. We apologise for the error.

Tutorial sessions — free, on-site sign-up at all three

The tutorial section is almost word-for-word identical across the three pages.

The confirmed conditions:

• Admission: Free
• Registration is planned to take place on-site on the day of the event. Not an advance lottery, not an advance ticket
• Demo decks are not available to take home
• One tutorial session per person for the whole convention
• To receive the gift you must be registered to the “NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL” on TCG+ and complete a survey after the session
• Participation prizes are limited to one per person, regardless of how many sessions you book or attend

Session timetables, the number of sessions per day, and capacity are unannounced for all three. Each page says only “Please stay tuned for further details.”

Participant gifts — the European pages list CP-001 alone

This is the difference most worth pinning down.

The participant-gift wording does not match between the two earlier pages and the three new ones.

“Giveaways” is a separate track from the tutorial: follow any official social media channel or register for the “NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL” on BANDAI TCG+ and receive a free sticker. Unlike the participant gift, you do not have to play a tutorial to get it.

Read literally, then:

• NYCC includes a sticker as a tutorial gift but has no follow-based giveaway
• PAX Aus, SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week have the follow-based giveaway
• Lucca alone never mentions a logo sticker — not in the participant gifts, not in a Giveaways section

That makes Lucca the only one of the five venues where a sticker appears nowhere in the text.

[Correction, October 10, 2026] This conclusion is wrong as of today. Re-checking the three pages on October 10 showed that “Logo Sticker” has been added to Lucca’s Participant Gifts (the gifts are now a CP-001 Chakra Card and a Logo Sticker). The page still displays September 04, 2026. So there is now no venue where a sticker appears nowhere. What has not changed is that Lucca still has no Giveaways section — meaning the sticker at Lucca is written only as a tutorial participant gift, and there is still no follow-or-subscribe giveaway. The text below stands as the September 5 record.

You cannot, however, conclude from this that Lucca will not hand out stickers. All three pages close with “Please be aware that the contents of the activities may change without notice,” so an absence in the text is not an announcement of absence. What can be said today stops at “it is not written officially.”

Merchandise — the playmat’s first European sale

All three pages carry the same product under “Merchandise” on identical terms.

• NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027-
• MSRP: $35 (+tax)
• Limited to one item per person. Available in limited quantities each day.

This playmat was first announced on the Gen Con 2026 page published July 8, but at Gen Con you could only buy it with the purchase voucher included in the tutorial gift set. The NYCC and PAX Aus pages published August 7 changed that to direct booth sales with no voucher, and the three European pages now apply the same terms in Europe.

Venue sales are therefore confirmed at five venues (NYCC, PAX Aus, SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week, Lucca). General retail or online sales have still not been announced.

CP-001 give-away occasions: from nine to twelve

Yesterday’s article counted nine occasions confirmable in official primary sources. With these three added, the total is twelve.

• On-site sign-up (NYCC, PAX Aus, 3 European; changed 9/19) 5occasions（42%）

The shape of the breakdown has changed too. At nine occasions the lottery route was the single largest (5); on-site sign-up has now grown from two to five, making it tied for the most common route. The geographic spread widens from eight countries and regions to eleven.

Meanwhile, there are still zero give-away occasions in Japan. The BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 Tokyo stop reads only “Early 2027,” with dates, venue and NARUTO Card Game programming all unannounced.

Note also that the three European pages carry no version name (nothing like “-Gen Con 2026 Ver.-”). Only two occasions — Gen Con 2026 and Yankee Stadium — have an officially published version name, and that has not changed.

These are not “new info reveals”

To set expectations: no new cards or products are scheduled to be revealed at these three events.

On the roadmap on the English official top page, all three are labelled “Tutorial Sessions planned.” The only entries labelled “New info reveals” are Gen Con 2026 in late July and New York Comic Con 2026 on October 8–11.

So for the rest of the year, the event where official new information is signposted is NYCC, and the three European events that follow are places to play the game, not to learn about it.

[Updated October 10] Registration opens October 14 — Essen and PGW via an external shop, Lucca on TCG+

The field that sat on “to be announced” for 21 days since September 19 has finally been filled in. All three pages still display September 04, 2026; only the contents were rewritten (we confirmed all three were still on “to be announced” as of October 8, so the rewrite happened between October 8 and 10).

Tutorial registration — same day, different channels, different times

The shared wording is identical across all three.

Tutorial Sessions will open for registration on a first-come, first-served basis at … on Wednesday, October 14. Players may register for a maximum of one event. Any attempts to circumvent this limit will result in exclusion from all demo events.

That last sentence — exclusion from all demo events for circumventing the limit — was not on any of the three pages as of September 5. The warning against duplicate registrations has now been spelled out.

Worth noting as a matter of the original text: the timezone abbreviations do not match. Essen and Paris Games Week say “CET”; Lucca says “CEST.” European summer time (CEST = UTC+2) does not end until October 25, 2026, so October 14 falls inside the summer-time period. There is no official explanation of which is intended. Read exactly as written:

Because of the one-hour spread, anyone targeting Essen or Paris Games Week is safer waiting from the earlier reading (01:00 JST on October 15). Lucca’s 11:00 AM CEST is internally consistent with summer time, so it reads as 18:00 JST on Wednesday, October 14.

Lucca alone uses TCG+ — and its button is not open yet

The “Registration Page” buttons on Essen and Paris Games Week already link to separate Weeztix shop URLs (see the table above). Weeztix is a Netherlands-based ticketing platform, separate from BANDAI TCG+.

Lucca’s button, by contrast, is class="button disable" with no destination. Presumably it is activated when registration opens, but what will appear at 11:00 AM CEST on October 14 cannot be verified today.

Updated October 15, 2026: that button is now live. It points not at BANDAI TCG+ itself but at a page run by Play-system, the Italian operator (part of the Gametrade group), carrying the full 63-session timetable for the five-day run together with each session’s TCG+ event URL. A “Playmat Ticket Page” button has also been added, publishing all 20 playmat booking windows with dates and times. Details are in our October 15 article.

That brings the registration channels to four different methods across events.

The playmat purchase method now differs at all three

As of September 5 all three pages carried only the same conditions: US$35 (+tax), one per person, limited quantities each day. The purchase method is now written differently at each venue.

• SPIEL Essen — every tutorial participant gets purchase eligibility. “All Tutorial Session participants receive the chance to purchase a playmat”; “Eligibility to purchase the playmat is valid only on the day you attend a Tutorial Session.”
• Paris Games Week — participants are eligible, but first-come within a daily allocation: “Tutorial Session participants will have the chance to purchase a playmat on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to a daily allocation.”
• Lucca Comics & Games — a purchase-ticket system, with tickets released one week before each event day: “reservations opening one week before each event day”; “Each ticket reserves a time slot to purchase one playmat on site.”

For Lucca the official page goes as far as a worked example.

For example, tickets for Wednesday, October 28 will be available from Wednesday, October 21, and tickets for Thursday, October 29 will be available from Thursday, October 22. This process will continue for each remaining event day.

Applied to the convention dates (October 28 – November 1), that means purchase tickets come out one day at a time from October 21 through 25.

October 30 onward is not covered by the official example, so those rows are derived from the “one week before” wording (the page says “This process will continue for each remaining event day.”). No start time is given.

Updated October 15, 2026: the registration page confirms these derived dates were correct — and the start times are now known too. Booking windows open each day from October 21 to 25 at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 Italian time, and each window corresponds to the same time slot on the event day exactly one week later (20 in total). On-site electronic payment only, one per person, a Lucca admission ticket for that day required, and cancellations return to the same page from about 17:00 on each event day. Details are in our October 15 article.

In short, anyone targeting Lucca has to act twice: once for tutorial registration on October 14, and again for a playmat purchase ticket between October 21 and 25. At Essen, registering for a tutorial brings purchase eligibility with it, so once is enough; at Paris Games Week it comes down to being first in line on the day.

What is still blank

Even with registration filled in, some items remain unannounced at all three.

• Booth and hall numbers (Location gives the venue name only at all three; NYCC alone has published #2705) ←corrected October 19: Essen (H5 J500) and Paris Games Week (Booth N° E8) are published. Lucca is the only one left blank
• Session timetables, sessions per day, and capacity (PAX Aus has published all 22 sessions; the European three have none)
• The CP-001 version name (nothing like “-Gen Con 2026 Ver.-” on any of the three pages)
• Lucca’s registration page URL (button not set)
• Publication on the Japanese official site (all three exist only on the English /en/ site; the Japanese news list has not grown since July 29)

Updated October 15, 2026: two of the items above are wrong for Lucca as of today. Since registration opened on October 14, Lucca’s registration page has revealed the following.

The Lucca registration page also states that Demo Decks can be played in Italian or English, the first mention of a language split in Demo Decks in our records. Details are in our October 15 article.

SPIEL Essen also hosts an influencer and media event (October 22, applications close September 27)

Added September 18, 2026

On September 17, 2026 (local time) the official English X account (@narutotcg_eng) posted a call for applications to an exclusive “NARUTO CARD GAME creator session” for TCG creators attending SPIEL Essen 2026. The attached image is titled “SPIEL Essen Influencer & Media Event”.

According to the post, selected creators receive guided gameplay assistance, dedicated filming time, creator materials and an exclusive gift kit.

The link at the end of the post leads to an application form on monday.com hosted by the event agency CS International GmbH, titled “SPIEL Essen Naruto TCG Influencer & Media Event 22.10.2026”. The form’s introduction states the following.

Submitting an application does not guarantee participation, and selected applicants will receive content guidelines, disclosure requirements and embargo policies before the event. The form asks for a full legal name, a contact email, links and follower counts for each social account (or a media outlet and its reach), and an optional BANDAI TCG+ account ID. It also states that data may be shared with “Bandai as the official franchise partner” where required.

In other words, this is an invitation-only event separate from the free, walk-up public tutorial sessions listed on the September 4 official page. Two points matter for anyone following the game from afar.

• October 22 is now a date on which information may surface via creators. Gen Con 2026 also had a Bandai Content Creator event, and photos of the official playmat handed out there revealed the turn structure and board zones. This time, however, the form explicitly mentions embargo policies, so it is unknown when participants’ content will go public
• The contents of the “exclusive gift kit” are unannounced. Nothing says whether it includes a playmat as at Gen Con

As of today (September 18) the event does not appear in the news feed of the English official site, and the Japanese official X account (@narutotcg_jp) has not posted about it. The only primary sources are the official English X post and the application form.

All three pages exist only in English

One last note for anyone tracking this from outside the English region.

These three pages exist only on the English site (/en/). The same URLs under the Japanese site (/jp/), the Asian English site (/asia-en/) and the Traditional Chinese site (/asia-tc/) all return 404 as of today.

The Japanese official site’s news feed has not been updated since July 29, 2026. Everything announced after the July 29 reveal — Yankee Stadium, NYCC, PAX Aus, the BCG Fest cities, and now these three European events — has been published in English only.

Summary

• The English official site published three event pages on September 4: SPIEL Essen (October 22–25, Germany), Paris Games Week (October 22–25, France) and Lucca Comics & Games (October 28 – November 1, Italy)
• All three offer free tutorial sessions with on-site same-day registration, one per person per convention, with a CP-001 Chakra Card as the participant gift (TCG+ channel registration and a post-session survey required)
• The official playmat sells at US$35 (+tax) at all three European venues, bringing confirmed venue sales to five
• The gift wording does not match the earlier pages: the European three list CP-001 alone, and Lucca never mentions a logo sticker at all
• Booth numbers, session timetables and gift quantities are unannounced for all three.
