The CP-001 Chakra Card Now Has 28 Confirmed Give-Away Occasions — Brazil and Spain Bring It to 15 Countries and Regions, While Still Only 2 Carry a Version Name

Updated November 7, 2026: we have raised the count from 26 to 28 occasions and from 13 countries and regions to 15. The NARUTO Card Game English official site published its CCXP 2026 page (December 3 – 6, 2026, São Paulo Expo São Paulo, Brazil) and Manga Barcelona 2026 page (December 5 – 8, 2026, Fira Barcelona Gran Via L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain) on November 6, 2026, and both name the CP-001 Chakra Card as the participant gift (our November 7 article). Both Brazil and Spain are firsts for CP-001, and the occasions still ahead go from 17 to 19. We have also corrected the date-dependent line added in the November 3 update (“today is the last day you can apply for a tutorial seat”): BCG Fest Taipei closed on November 3, so the figure has been zero worldwide since November 4. The table, breakdown charts and summary have been replaced with today’s figures. Note that both new events leave participation unannounced (“Details on how to participate in the Tutorial Session will be announced soon.”), so neither is counted as an open application.

Updated November 3, 2026: we have recounted the give-away occasions from 14 to 26 and withdrawn this article’s “none in Japan” conclusion. Until the October 14 update this article said “14 occasions, zero give-aways in Japan.” That statement had already become wrong on October 13, 2026, when the Japanese official site published its Premier Demo Event page listing 「参加記念品 CP-001 チャクラカード」 and locking in 11 nationwide venues (January 16 – March 21, 2027) as Japanese give-away occasions. The Jump Festa 2027 exhibition page, published November 2, 2026, then added two more Japanese routes (December 19-20, 2026). We have also corrected the claim that the BCG Fest Tokyo stop “reads only Early 2027 with no dates or venue” (dates, venues and programming were all published on October 16, 2026) and the claim that “the Japanese official site’s news column has not been updated since July 29, 2026” (the latest entry is dated 2026.11.02). The table, breakdown charts and summary have been replaced with today’s figures. Separately, the BCG Fest Taipei application closes today, November 3 (local time) — the last day you can apply for a named tutorial seat anywhere.

Updated October 14, 2026: CP-001’s card face and effect text have been published. The participation gift section of the Japanese 先行体験会 (Premier Demo Event) page, published October 13, 2026, carries the card image. The effect text reads “When using Chakra, turn this card face-down.” — identical to the standard C-001. The artwork is a newly drawn piece showing Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha back to back (Taiga Itokazu), and no version name is printed, so which printing the artwork belongs to remains unannounced. The statement below that the card face and effect text are unrevealed for every occasion no longer holds (for a card-by-card reading, see our CP-001 analysis). Japan now has a confirmed give-away occasion as well, from the Premier Demo Event on January 16, 2027 (article).

Updated October 5, 2026: statuses have been brought up to October 5. The BCG Fest Bangkok lottery closed on October 4 local time, leaving three cities open to apply — Singapore (October 12), Kuala Lumpur (October 25) and Taipei (November 3) (details in the seven-city application schedule). We have also added the fact that three give-away occasions land inside the four days of October 8–11, and corrected the line that said tutorial timetables were unpublished for all five on-site occasions — PAX Aus has published its 22 sessions.

Updated October 10, 2026: the three European events’ “method to be announced” has been filled in. The SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca pages were rewritten without changing their date (September 04, 2026), and tutorial registration opens first-come on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at all three (Essen and Paris Games Week through the external online shop Weeztix at 06:00 PM CET, Lucca on BANDAI TCG+ at 11:00 AM CEST). The table, the breakdown chart and section 2 have been updated (details in our article on the three European events). Separately, a new Dubai event — Tabletop.me (November 6–8) — was added to the official site on the same October 9 date, but that page has no participant-gift section and never mentions CP-001 (today’s article). The count therefore stays at fourteen.

Updated September 19, 2026: the official pages were rewritten and the “5 on-site sign-up” category has split. PAX Aus now takes advance, first-come registration on TCG+ from September 20, 11:00 AEST; NYCC hands out tutorial tickets first come, first served each morning at Booth #3001; and the three European pages say the participation method will be announced later. The table and section 2 have been updated (details in our September 19 article).

Updated September 13, 2026: statuses have been brought up to September 13 (three cities are open — Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore — and Yankee Stadium has taken place). Section 1 also now records that all seven BCG Fest Pre-Registration pages state the event is open only to lottery winners, with no same-day registration or entry (details in You Cannot Just Walk Up to a BCG Fest NARUTO Teaching Session).

Updated September 6, 2026: the NARUTO pages for the BCG Fest Kuala Lumpur and Taipei stops also carry Teaching Session application details, so the count has been updated from twelve occasions to fourteen (details in Teaching Session Details Published for Kuala Lumpur and Taipei). Section 4 has also been rewritten because the Yankee Stadium giveaway terms are now published — the first 40,000 guests (details in our Yankee Stadium article).

Updated September 5, 2026: the English official site published pages for SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca Comics & Games on September 4, and all three list a “CP-001 Chakra Card” as the tutorial session gift. The count was updated from nine occasions to twelve (details in Details Published for Three European Events).

Looking at our own analytics, CP-001 Chakra Card keeps appearing among the card database pages that receive the most search traffic. That is striking for a card whose image and effect text have never been published — which tells you what people are actually searching for: where and how do I get one?

So this article gathers every CP-001 give-away occasion confirmable in official primary sources and lays them out in date order. The short version: 28 occasions, 12 of them in Japan, and only two with a version name.

Scope of this article: everything below comes from the NARUTO Card Game official site (Japanese and English), the BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 official site (the seven Asian cities plus the Tokyo stop), the Jump Festa 2027 official site and the New York Yankees official site. The BCG Fest seven-city NARUTO pages, the Tokyo stop’s NARUTO page, the Premier Demo Event page and the Jump Festa 2027 exhibition page were all re-fetched and checked on November 3, 2026, and all nine overseas event pages on the English official site were re-fetched and checked on November 7, 2026. Yankee Stadium remains the only occasion with an officially stated quantity (first 40,000 guests). Plans may change.

What CP-001 actually is

It is a different card number from the sample Chakra Card, C-001, shown at the July 29, 2026 reveal.

• C-001 — the ordinary Chakra Card. A resource card, five of which are used alongside the deck; the card face reads “When using chakra, turn this card face down” (see our complete guide to Chakra Cards)
• CP-001 — the number with a P (apparently for “promotional”) attached. Event-exclusive; no retail product has been announced as containing it

And CP-001 is being operated as a single card number that carries venue-specific variants. The Gen Con 2026 gift is “CP-001 Chakra Card -Gen Con 2026 Ver.-”; the one handed out at Yankee Stadium is “CP-001 Chakra Card -New York Yankees™ Ver.-”. Same card number, different version name.

All 28 occasions (as of November 7, 2026)

In date order. Where the version column says “none listed,” the official page says only “CP-001 チャクラカード,” “CP-001 Chakra Card” or “CP-001 查克拉卡” — meaning it is unannounced whether the artwork matches the Gen Con version or not.

The 9 that have already happened

The 19 still to come

That is 12 in Japan, 3 in the USA, 1 in Australia, 4 in Europe (Germany, France, Italy, Spain), 5 in Southeast Asia, 1 in Hong Kong, 1 in Taiwan and 1 in Brazil — 15 countries and regions. Jump Festa 2027 is the only single event with two give-away routes, so counted by route the total is 29.

Japan leads every country with 12 occasions — four times the second-placed USA (3). That picture did not exist before October 13, 2026, and this site itself still said “zero in Japan” at the October 14 update (the correction history is in the notes at the top of this article).

Kuala Lumpur and Taipei are the two we confirmed on September 6 as carrying application details dated September 4, 2026.

Three give-away occasions land inside the four days of October 8–11 (updated October 5)

Of the fourteen known at the time, physical copies had actually changed hands at only two — Gen Con 2026 and Yankee Stadium. But three of them now run inside the four days from October 8 to 11.

Saturday October 10 is the day all three run at once. That is also the day of the NYCC panel “NARUTO: What’s Next?” (5:00–6:00 PM local time, livestreamed worldwide from 6:00 AM JST on October 11).

Of the three, Jakarta is the first NARUTO tutorial session to actually run across BCG Fest 26-27’s seven Asian cities. As tracked in the seven-city application schedule, Jakarta’s window closed on August 24 and its results are already out (from September 10), so there is no way left to secure a seat.

Conversely, the only route you can still act on today is an NYCC morning ticket — PAX Aus sign-ups opened September 20 on a first-come basis, and the three European events have not published a method.

Seven different ways to get one, plus two unannounced

Same CP-001, but the route to receiving it is completely different in each case. By count, lottery accounts for 18 of the 28 (about 64%) — the seven BCG Fest Asian cities plus the 11 Premier Demo Event venues in Japan.

1. Lottery (seven BCG Fest cities)

These go to those drawn for the NARUTO Card Game “Teaching Session” demo held at each BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 stop. It is not a product sales lottery — it is a lottery for a seat at the demo (see our detailed write-up).

Applying requires face photo registration in the BANDAI TCG+ app, and your profile must read “Face Photo Verified” during the application window. The official pages warn that verification can take a week or longer, so registering close to a deadline will not work. There is also a note that minors cannot register a face photo but remain eligible to participate, and should apply using their own account.

[Updated November 7, 2026] All seven cities are now closed. Taipei, the last one open, closed on November 3 (local time) — the official page reads 報名開始 2026年9月25日 - 11月3日, and a footnote states *本網站記載的所有日程皆為舉辦地當地時間。, so read it as venue local time. This section said at the November 3 update that “exactly one city is open — Taipei — and today is its deadline”; that no longer holds from November 4.

In practice, though, you cannot start today and make the Taipei deadline. Applying requires face photo registration, and the page states 審核過程可能需要一週或更長時間 (verification can take a week or longer). The target date to begin registering for Taipei was October 27, which has passed. Only people whose profile already reads 「臉部照片已驗證」 can make today’s deadline.

The application windows range from Manila’s 14 days to Taipei’s 40 — roughly a threefold spread — yet the gap from winner announcement to event day is pinned at exactly 30 days in five of the seven cities (Manila’s 37 and Hong Kong’s 44 are the exceptions). The extra length was added on the application side; when you learn your result has not moved from one month before the event.

None of these seven leaves any room for signing up on the day. Every one of the seven BCG Fest cities’ Pre-Registration pages states that “this event is open only to participants who have been selected through the lottery. Same-day registration or entry will not be available.” Reception may ask for ID on the day, and if it does not match your BANDAI TCG+ account you forfeit both participation and the right to buy prizes and goods; participation rights are non-transferable and proxies are prohibited (details in You Cannot Just Walk Up to a BCG Fest NARUTO Teaching Session).

Note too that a capacity is published for exactly one city — Singapore’s “Capacity 192”; the other six list none (confirmed September 12, 2026).

2. NYCC 2026, PAX Aus 2026 and the three European events (updated September 19: now three different methods)

These five are not lotteries. Until September 18 every one of the English official pages stated “Registration for the Tutorial Sessions is planned to take place on-site on the day of the event,” but as of September 19 they split three ways (details).

• PAX Aus 2026: advance, first-come registration on BANDAI TCG+ from September 20 at 11:00 AEST (10:00 JST); one event per person
• NYCC 2026: tutorial session tickets handed out first come, first served each morning at the Bandai Namco Naruto Booth #3001 (sessions run at BANDAI CARD GAMES Booth #2705)
• The three European events: [Updated October 10, 2026] all three now open first-come registration on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 — SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week through an external online shop (Weeztix) at 06:00 PM CET, Lucca on BANDAI TCG+ at 11:00 AM CEST (details)

Participation is free at all five.

Receiving the gift does come with conditions, though:

• Registration for the “NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL” on BANDAI TCG+
• Completing a survey after the session
• One set of participation prizes per person, regardless of how many sessions you attend
• Only one tutorial session per person across the whole convention (stated on all five pages)

What you receive differs. NYCC and PAX Aus list two items, the CP-001 Chakra Card and a Logo Sticker, but the three European pages published September 4 list CP-001 alone as the participant gift (SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week do carry a separate “Giveaways” section offering a logo sticker for a social follow or TCG+ registration; Lucca has no such section).

Venues: NYCC at the Javits Center (booth #2705); PAX Aus at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC); SPIEL Essen at Messe Essen (Germany); Paris Games Week at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (France); Lucca at Piazza Santa Maria (Italy). Only NYCC lists a booth number.

[Corrected October 5, 2026] This article long said session times were unannounced for all five, but PAX Aus 2026 has published its timetable: the Australian operator TAK Games lists eight hourly sessions from 10:30 to 17:30 on Friday and Saturday and six from 10:30 to 15:30 on Sunday — 22 in all, 45 minutes each — with a TCG+ event URL for every slot (confirmed in our September 19 article). Timetables remain unannounced for the four others — NYCC and the three European events.

3. Lottery (Premier Demo Event, 11 venues nationwide in Japan) [added November 3, 2026]

This is the largest give-away route in Japan. The participation gift section of the Japanese official site’s Premier Demo Event page, published October 13, 2026, reads CP-001 チャクラカード (our article on all 11 stores).

The demo decks split into a “Naruto Uzumaki deck” and a “Sasuke Uchiha deck,” and you cannot take them home. Participation requires advance application through BANDAI TCG+ — the same app used for BCG Fest.

Applications are split into three groups by event month.

As of today, the next CP-001 occasion you can apply for is this January group, opening December 1. Because BCG Fest Taipei closes today, the 27 days from November 4 through November 30 leave not a single named tutorial seat open to applications anywhere in the world.

There is merchandise at the venues too: the Premium Card Collection vol.00 -CHAKRA set- at ¥1,650 (tax incl.) and the Official Play Mat -Naruto vs Sasuke- at ¥3,850 (tax incl.), sold with priority to Premier Demo Event participants.

4. Admission lottery plus on-site booth sign-up (Jump Festa 2027) [added November 3, 2026]

This is the earliest date you can receive a CP-001 in Japan, confirmed by the Jump Festa 2027 exhibition page published November 2, 2026 (our November 2 article). The show runs Saturday December 19 and Sunday December 20, 2026, 9:00–17:00 (last entry 16:30; Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall, halls 1–9 and 11).

This single event is the only one with two give-away routes.

• One card to each participant in the demo deck tutorial at the “NARUTO CARD GAME booth” (limited to once per person; reception may close early or switch to numbered tickets depending on conditions on the day)
• One card inside the “junior-high-and-under goody bag” given to visitors in junior high school or younger. The Jump Festa 2027 official site’s goody bag page also lists it as “バンダイ／『NARUTOカードゲーム』 プロモーションカード（CP-001 チャクラカード）”, making this the only give-away occasion corroborated on two separate official sites

Unlike the other 27, what you apply for here is not a tutorial seat but the right to enter the venue. Admission is free but strictly advance-application and invitation-only; the application open to anyone runs November 2, 2026 10:00 – November 16, 17:59 JST (results around 9:30 on November 24). It requires the “Jump NAVI” app, which is a different app from BANDAI TCG+. The booth tutorial and the goody bag are covered by that admission ticket alone, and the tutorial seat itself is secured at the booth on the day (times and capacity unannounced).

5. Advance ticket (Gen Con 2026, concluded)

Gen Con 2026, the world’s first demo, ran on advance ticket registration through the Gen Con website. Its haul was the largest of the 28: CP-001 Chakra Card -Gen Con 2026 Ver.- plus a special backpack, a logo sticker, and a same-day purchase voucher for the official playmat — four items, against the two (card and sticker) at NYCC and PAX Aus and the one card at the three European events. TCG+ channel registration and a survey were required here too.

The tickets sold out before the convention.

6. First-come (Yankee Stadium)

“NARUTO x YANKEES GAME NIGHT,” held on September 8 at Yankee Stadium, was the only one of the 28 with an officially stated quantity.

The New York Yankees official site’s “Promotional Schedule” lists “NARUTO Night – NARUTO Yankee Stadium Exclusive Card Giveaway,” “Tuesday, September 8,” “1st 40,000 Guests,” “Presented by Bandai” (confirmed September 6, 2026). The distribution guidelines on the same page make it guests in attendance only, while supplies last, one item per valid same-day ticket, received in the distribution area upon entry (details in our Yankee Stadium article).

That quantity, however, appears only on the ball club’s page. The NARUTO Card Game English official site still just says a Chakra Card bearing the Yankees logo will be handed out and defers to the New York Yankees website for details — unchanged from August 7.

The game was played as scheduled — New York Yankees vs Colorado Rockies, first pitch 7:05pm ET on September 8 — and MLB’s official attendance was 46,211. Against a cap of the first 40,000 guests, that is 6,211 more people in the building than the giveaway covered (details here). How many cards were actually handed out is unannounced.

7. Participation method unannounced (CCXP 2026, Manga Barcelona 2026) [added November 7, 2026]

Of the 28, these are the only two where nothing is known about how you receive one. Both pages were published on the English official site on November 6, 2026, and both name the CP-001 Chakra Card as the participant gift (our November 7 article).

Brazil is the first South American give-away (the only one of the 15 countries and regions), and Spain is a first too — the fourth European occasion after Germany, France and Italy.

The conditions are the same three lines as the existing venues: registration to the NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL on BANDAI TCG+ and a survey after the session, with one tutorial session per event and one prize per person. Admission to the session is Admission: Free (entry to the event itself is still required), and demo decks cannot be taken home.

What is missing is how you get a seat. Both pages carry the notice “* Details on how to participate in the Tutorial Session will be announced soon.” — lottery, first-come and on-site sign-up are all equally unstated. So this article counts them as give-away occasions but not as open applications. Timetable, per-session capacity, booth number, demo deck language and version name are unannounced as well.

Note also that neither page has a Merchandise section (the venue sale of the official playmat). Collating all nine overseas event pages on the English site, these two are the first to carry Participant Gifts without Merchandise — and since neither page says it will not be sold, we treat that as unannounced.

How to read the fact that only two versions are named

This is the point most worth pinning down.

Only two occasions have an officially printed version name:

• CP-001 Chakra Card -Gen Con 2026 Ver.-
• CP-001 Chakra Card -New York Yankees™ Ver.-

The remaining 26 — NYCC, PAX Aus, the seven BCG Fest cities, the three European events, the 11 Premier Demo Event venues, Jump Festa 2027, CCXP and Manga Barcelona — say nothing beyond “CP-001 チャクラカード” or “CP-001 Chakra Card” on any page. The Traditional Chinese Hong Kong and Taipei pages render it “CP-001 查克拉卡” and file it under 紀念品 (“commemorative item”). Adding the two Japanese occasions, and the two published on November 6, did not add a single version name.

The count grew from 14 to 28 occasions, and the number carrying a version name stayed at two. So what is actually known stops at “a Chakra Card numbered CP-001 will be handed out.” Whether those 26 share the Gen Con artwork, use separate versions each, or use an unnamed common design has not been announced at all. The absence of a version name cannot be read as evidence either way.

Note too that the card image published on the Premier Demo Event page on October 13, 2026 carries no printed version name (the effect text reads “When using chakra, turn this card face down” — identical to the standard C-001; see our CP-001 analysis). Seeing the card face did not answer which printing the artwork belongs to.

Japan went from 0 to 12 and now leads every country [rewritten November 3, 2026]

This section long carried the heading “Not one occasion in Japan yet.” We withdraw that conclusion.

Japan’s 12 break down as the 11 Premier Demo Event venues (January 16 – March 21, 2027) and Jump Festa 2027 (December 19-20, 2026, with two routes). The earliest date you can receive one in Japan is December 19, 2026 — 28 days earlier than the Premier Demo Event opening day (January 16, 2027) that had looked like Japan’s first.

We do not count the BCG Fest Tokyo stop

This article said Tokyo “is listed as Early 2027 only, with no dates and no venue.” That statement had also become wrong on October 16, 2026.

The BCG Fest Tokyo NARUTO contents page (dated 2026.10.16), checked again today, publishes the following (our October 16 article):

• February 20-21, 2027 at TOC Exhibition Hall and March 6-7, 2027 at Ikebukuro Sunshine City Exhibition Halls B and C
• NARUTO’s programming is “体験会 in BCGFest” at both legs (no tournament listed)
• Applications: main event November 20–29, 2026; side events (early) December 25, 2026 – January 3, 2027; side events (second round) from February 10, 2027

We still do not count it as a give-away occasion. The seven Asian cities’ pages say “紀念品 CP-001 查克拉卡” or “Prize CP-001 Chakra Card” outright, whereas the Tokyo stop’s NARUTO page has no participation gift section at all and never mentions CP-001. Reception times also remain “to be announced.” We do not count what the official site does not state.

The Japanese official site’s status changed too

This article also said “the Japanese official site’s news feed has not been updated since July 29, 2026.” That is wrong as well. As of today the Japanese news list is headed by 2026.11.02 “ジャンプフェスタ2027 出展情報”, preceded by 2026.10.16 (BCG Fest Tokyo) and 2026.10.13 (Oct. 2026 info / Premier Demo Event). All 12 Japanese give-away occasions were confirmed from Japanese-language pages published on or after October 13.

As for SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week in October and Lucca Comics & Games from late October, dedicated pages were published on the English official site on September 4, 2026, confirming a CP-001 Chakra Card as the tutorial session gift at all three (details here). Those three pages still exist only in English (/en/), with the same URLs returning 404 on the Japanese and Asian sites.

Summary — what is known as of November 7, 2026

• Official primary sources confirm 28 CP-001 give-away occasions across 15 countries and regions (29 counted by route). Nine have already happened; 19 are still ahead
• CCXP 2026 (Brazil, December 3–6) and Manga Barcelona 2026 (Spain, December 5–8) were added on November 6. Both Brazil and Spain are firsts for CP-001, and South America accounts for exactly one
• Japan went from 0 to 12 and now leads every country (11 Premier Demo Event venues plus Jump Festa 2027). The earliest date to receive one in Japan is December 19, 2026
• The route splits seven ways — 18 lottery (11 Premier Demo Event + 7 BCG Fest), 7 first-come sign-up and advance ticket (all closed), 1 admission lottery plus on-site booth sign-up — plus 2 with the participation method unannounced (CCXP, Manga Barcelona)
• Only two still carry a version name. Fourteen occasions were added and not one version name came with them; whether the other 26 share the same artwork is unannounced
• There has been no open application for a named tutorial seat anywhere in the world since November 4, 2026 (the last one, BCG Fest Taipei, closed on November 3 local time). That holds through November 30, and the next window is the Premier Demo Event January group opening December 1. Whether CCXP or Barcelona opens sooner is unannounced
• But because face photo verification can take a week or longer, starting after a window opens may be too late. Anyone planning to apply is safer verifying now
• The 18 lottery occasions have no same-day route (the seven BCG Fest Pre-Registration pages say winners only, with no same-day registration or entry; the Premier Demo Event likewise requires advance application through BANDAI TCG+)
• We do not count the BCG Fest Tokyo stop (February 20-21 and March 6-7, 2027). Its dates, venues and “体験会 in BCGFest” programming are published, but CP-001 is never mentioned

And to repeat: Yankee Stadium remains the only occasion with an officially stated quantity (the first 40,000 guests); the other 27 give no number. The card face and effect text were published on October 13, 2026, but with no printed version name, “which printing is this artwork” is still unanswered.

The next time a physical copy reaches anyone is BCG Fest Bangkok on November 21-22, 2026 (winners only), and in Japan Jump Festa 2027 on December 19-20, 2026.
