BCG Fest NARUTO "Teaching Session" lottery guide — all seven cities are now closed; what remains are the winner announcements and the events (ID checks, no same-day entry)

This article collects the application and participation rules for the NARUTO Card Game demo “Teaching Session” at the seven Asian stops of BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 (BCG Fest). It cross-checks each city’s NARUTO page (application window, winner announcement date, gift), the separate “Pre-Registration” page each city has, and the official help for BANDAI TCG+, where you apply.

About this article: it was first published on August 29, 2026 with four cities, and later cities, registration openings and admission rules were added as they emerged. On October 6, 2026 we merged in the content of our registration-opening news posts and our admission-rules article and reorganised everything so a single page covers the whole picture. Statuses reflect our re-check of the seven Asian city pages on November 4, 2026, and the announcement progress reflects our re-check of the Singapore page on November 5, 2026. Plans are subject to change.

Updated November 4, 2026: the application chapter is now closed. Taipei, the last window still open, ended on November 3 (local time), so as of today all seven Asian cities are closed. What this article said yesterday — “Taipei is the only city open and today is its deadline” — is wrong as of today, so we have replaced the figures at the top, the status table, the section headings and the summary with the all-closed state and rebuilt them around what comes next (the winner announcement and event calendar). Note that the Taipei page still reads 「報名開始 2026年9月25日 - 11月3日」 today and shows no “closed” label — the behaviour described in the “How to read the status” section below.

Updated November 5, 2026: the announcement phase has moved. Re-checking the Singapore NARUTO page today, the lottery result line reads “November 5, 2026 -” — today is the start date (the window is still shown as September 11, 2026 - October 12, 2026, and the Capacity 192 figure is unchanged). That brings the seven cities’ announcements to five of seven, leaving Kuala Lumpur (from November 12) and Taipei (from November 19). We have updated the figures at the top and the calendar below to match. Note that every official line gives a start date only and never says everyone is notified that day — you check your own result in My Events on BANDAI TCG+ (see “What happens in the app after you apply” below).

Status of the seven cities (as of November 4, 2026)

The gift is a “CP-001 Chakra Card” in all seven cities (Taipei writes it as “CP-001 查克拉卡”). Only Singapore lists a capacity (“Capacity 192”); our November 3 check found no capacity field in the other six. Current statuses are also tracked on our pre-order and lottery hub.

What comes next — the winner announcements (Singapore began today) and five events

With every application closed, the only things left on the calendar are results and the events themselves. The official wording is always a start date with a trailing dash (“November 5, 2026 -”), so nothing promises the result lands on that exact day.

The nearest event is Bangkok on November 21–22 (The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi), whose winners have been announced since October 22. The remaining five cities are packed into the month from November 21 to December 20.

The window grew from 14 days to 40, but when you learn the result has not moved

Line the seven application periods up and each later city got a longer window (the chart is in the “You will not know before 30 days out” section below). Yet the gap from the winner announcement to the event stays pinned at exactly 30 days in five of the seven cities. Putting the two side by side shows how the scheme is built.

Every added day went to the application side, and the point at which applicants learn their result has not moved from one month before the event. A longer window means more time to decide — not an earlier answer.

Face photo screening moved the real deadline a week earlier

Applying requires face photo registration in BANDAI TCG+, and the Taipei page states 審核過程可能需要一週或更長時間 (screening can take a week or more). In practice, then, whether you could apply at all was settled a week before the published deadline. Subtracting seven days from each deadline gives these target dates (the seven days is our own back-calculation from that note, not an official recommendation).

Only accounts whose profile already read 「臉部照片已驗證」 (Face Photo Verified) made the final Taipei deadline. The same structure applies to the next applications (Japan’s Premier Demo Event and the BCG Fest Tokyo stop), so the practical preparation is to finish registering before the December 1 opening. From November 4, what you apply for has shifted from a tutorial seat to venue admission

With Taipei closed, there is not a single application anywhere in the world for a named tutorial seat. The NARUTO pages for the Orlando and London stops still read “Tutorial Session / Details will be updated in the future,” and the “体験会 in BCGFest” at the Tokyo stop still lists its reception time as “to be announced” (though the application window itself is published as November 20–29).

As of today the only open NARUTO-related application is the Jump Festa 2027 admission ticket (November 2, 2026 10:00 – November 16, 17:59 JST; results November 24). But that is not a lottery for a tutorial seat — it is a lottery for the right to enter the venue, and the seat at the booth’s demo deck tutorial (one CP-001 per participant) is secured at the booth on the day.

The next chance to apply for a tutorial seat is the January group of Japan’s Premier Demo Event, opening December 1. That leaves the 27 days from November 4 to November 30 with no tutorial-seat application open at all, 26 of them remaining as of today, November 5 (for the full CP-001 picture, see our list of all 26 give-away occasions).

How applying works, and the requirements

A lottery, not first-come — confirmed via the Chinese pages

On the English pages the results field is labelled “Winner announcement,” which on its own could be read as a tournament winner. But the same field on the Traditional Chinese pages (Hong Kong, Taipei) reads 抽籤結果公布 — lottery result announcement. The Pre-Registration pages described below also state plainly that only participants selected through the lottery may take part, so the Teaching Session is a lottery, not first-come.

The gift field reading 紀念品 (commemorative gift) also supports reading CP-001 as a giveaway for participants rather than a competitive prize.

Face photo registration (“Face Photo Verified”) is required

You apply on the BANDAI TCG+ event page (Bandai’s official card game app) linked from each city’s page. All seven cities state the same requirement.

Registration of a face photo in the BANDAI TCG+ app is required to apply for and participate in the event.

• If your profile does not show “Face Photo Verified” (臉部照片已驗證 on the Chinese pages) during the window, you cannot apply at all
• Screening can take a week or more, so register with time to spare
• Minors cannot register a face photo but are still eligible, and should apply with their own account

The official help gives the purpose of face photo registration as preventing multiple accounts and proxy participation.

What happens in the app after you apply

The BANDAI TCG+ official help page “Searching and applying for events” describes lottery events this way.

For lottery events, a random selection will be performed by the day before the event, and your status will be changed according to the result.

*The lottery schedule differs from event to event. *Lottery results are notified within the BANDAI TCG+ app.

After applying, select the event under “My Events” at the bottom of the app; before the draw it shows “Already applied” (official Q&A). On the day, go to “My Events” → the event’s “Details” and check in with either “Location-based Check-in” or “2D Code Check-in,” whichever the organiser specifies.

The official Q&A also explains the waiting list: if a winner cancels before the day of the event, waiting-list entries move up automatically in order of waiting number, and on the day the organiser can move up checked-in waiting-list entries if fewer winners check in than the capacity. This, however, is the general BANDAI TCG+ mechanism — whether a waiting list exists for the NARUTO session at BCG Fest is not stated on any of the seven city pages.

One more note matters at BCG Fest, where several titles run on the same day:

*If you apply for more than one event on the same day, regardless of card game title, the event times must be at least two hours apart.

The NARUTO Teaching Session’s times are unannounced, so if you also plan to enter another title’s tournament, there is currently no way to tell whether this rule applies.

You won’t know the result more than 30 days before the event

Counting backwards from each event’s first day reveals a clear pattern.

In five of the seven cities, the event begins exactly 30 days after the winner announcement. And because the official pages write the date as “September 10, 2026 -” — from that day — 30 days is the gap if results come out at the earliest. It is more accurate to read this as “you will not know earlier than a month before” rather than “you will know a month before,” which is also roughly how much room you have to book travel after winning.

The length of the application window also varies widely.

Jakarta (Oct 10–11)15days

The shortest (Manila, 14 days) and the longest (Taipei, 40 days) differ by roughly three times, and the later the city, the longer the window (only Bangkok and Hong Kong swap places relative to event order). No official reason is given. Both the 30-day gap and the window lengths are our own counts from the official dates, not something Bandai has described as a design.

Admission and on-the-day rules — you cannot just turn up

Each BCG Fest city site has a “Pre-Registration” page (活動參加方法 on the Chinese pages) separate from the NARUTO page. We checked all seven Asian cities on September 13, 2026; these pages hold the things you need to know before applying to avoid trouble on the day.

Only winners can take part — no same-day registration or entry

All seven Pre-Registration pages carry the same statement.

*Please note that this event is open only to participants who have been selected through the lottery. Same-day registration or entry will not be available.

The Traditional Chinese pages (Hong Kong, Taipei) say 本活動僅限中籤者參加。無法於活動當天直接入場, and the Thai page (Bangkok) says the same. The notes at the top of the page repeat it in all seven cities:

*Please make sure to apply with the “BANDAI TCG+” account of the person who will participate in the event. Same-day visitors will not be able to participate in the event.

In other words, if you did not apply, or you were not selected, going to the venue will not get you into the session. No page in any of the seven cities describes a way to receive the CP-001 gift on the day. The waiting-list mechanism above does not change this — counting on “I’ll go anyway and maybe move up” is a bad bet.

This also differs from NARUTO’s other demos. Gen Con 2026 used advance tickets (which sold out after going on sale), and NYCC 2026 and PAX Aus 2026 originally announced on-site registration on the day (PAX Aus later switched to advance registration on TCG+ and NYCC to morning ticket handouts; see our September 19 article). The seven Asian BCG Fest cities leave no same-day route at all.

ID checks at reception — and losing the right to buy goods

The notes also cover reception on the day.

*We may ask for your ID at the reception desk on the day of the event. If the information on your “BANDAI TCG+” account is different from the information on your “BANDAI TCG+” account, you will not be allowed to participate in the tournament. In such cases, all rights to participate in the tournament and to purchase prizes and goods will be forfeited. Please understand this beforehand.

The English text repeats “your BANDAI TCG+ account” twice and never names what it is compared against, but the Traditional Chinese reads 若身分證明文件資料與「BANDAI TCG+」帳號資訊不符 — if the information on your ID does not match your account. A mismatch costs you not only the right to take part but also the right to buy prizes and goods — which would cover venue merchandise such as the official playmat.

All seven cities also state “*Participation rights are non-transferable.”, and the Chinese pages are blunter: 嚴禁由他人代理參加 — attending on someone else’s behalf is strictly prohibited. The person who won goes in person, on their own account.

Two application routes — per-title events and an admission ticket

The “About the Event” block on each Pre-Registration page has two buttons.

• Events for each title (各作品的活動) — the list of per-title events, which is where the NARUTO Teaching Session lives
• Admission ticket / Admission only (入場券／僅限入場券) — a separate BANDAI TCG+ series

*Please note that participants who select “Admission Only” will not be eligible to participate in any of the pre-registration events for each title.

*Please note that admission tickets allow access only to merchandise sales and teaching sessions. Participants with admission tickets will not be able to join any other pre-registration events.

So an admission ticket covers only “merchandise sales” and “teaching sessions.” This is easy to misread: the same page also says only lottery winners may take part, and there is no official explanation of how the two statements fit together. You cannot currently read this as “an admission ticket gets you into the NARUTO Teaching Session.”

Listing each city’s BANDAI TCG+ series IDs shows the admission ticket is exactly one higher than the NARUTO session in all seven cities.

This is an observed pattern; Bandai has not published a numbering rule. BANDAI TCG+ pages render with JavaScript, so we cannot see the content behind the links — always check the requirements and status there.

How to read the status — the “scheduled to open” note is never rewritten

Each city’s NARUTO page has carried the note “*Registration is scheduled to open on [date].” since before registration opened. The note is never rewritten, whether the window has opened or closed.

• Jakarta: registration closed on August 24 and the winner date (September 10) has passed, yet on October 5, with the event days away, the page still shows “scheduled to open on August 10” and the application link (series/8080)
• Hong Kong: after its September 27 deadline the update stamp still reads “2026.08.28” and the note 報名預計於2026年9月1日開始。 is still there
• Bangkok: after its October 4 deadline, nothing changed — update stamp “2026.09.11,” the note and the application link (series/8388)
• Taipei: after its November 3 deadline, both 「報名開始 2026年9月25日 - 11月3日」 and 報名預計於2026年9月25日開始。 are still there unchanged on November 4
• Manila is the only page without the note — and Manila closed on September 3

Even on November 4, 2026, with all seven cities closed, not one of the pages shows anything equivalent to “registration has ended.” Two things are reliable:

1. The application window dates on the official page — the most dependable signal
2. Whether the application link is a real link — before opening, “Click here for registration” / 報名連結 is plain text; in all seven cities the page was updated on the scheduled opening day and the text was replaced by a real URL

City-by-city details

Jakarta (Indonesia)

• Event page / Venue: Mall Alam Sutera / Event: October 10–11
• Window Aug 10 – Aug 24 (closed) / Winners from Sep 10 / Apply at series/8080 (admission ticket series/8081)
• The Pre-Registration page carries an added note extending applications to September 6 and moving results to September 18, but the notice it refers to (August 28) lists only BATTLE SPIRITS, DIGIMON CARD GAME, UNION ARENA, DRAGON BALL SUPER CARD GAME FUSION WORLD and the admission ticket — NARUTO CARD GAME is not included (unchanged at our September 28 re-check). For NARUTO the deadline stays August 24 and results from September 10
• This is the first NARUTO session to actually take place among the seven Asian cities

Manila (Philippines)

• Event page / Venue: One Ayala Mall / Event: October 24–25
• Window Aug 21 – Sep 3 (closed) / Winners from Sep 17 / Apply at series/8122 (admission ticket series/8123)
• The top-of-page category reads “Pre-Registered Event,” but the section heading reads “On-Site Registration Side Event” (Bangkok is the same). The fields are still an application window, winner date and application link, and the Pre-Registration page says winners only, so we treat it as an advance lottery like the other cities. No official explanation of the mismatch has been given

Bangkok (Thailand)

• Event page / Venue: The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi / Event: November 21–22
• Window Sep 11 – Oct 4 (closed) / Winners from Oct 22 / Apply at series/8388 (admission ticket series/8389)
• The application link was still plain text on the morning of September 11 and had become a real link by our September 12 check. The heading mismatch is the same as Manila’s

Hong Kong

• Event page / Venue: AsiaWorld-Expo / Event: November 28–29
• Window Sep 1 – Sep 27 (closed) / 抽籤結果公布 from Oct 15 / Apply at series/8207 (admission ticket series/8208)
• At 44 days, the longest gap between winner announcement and event among the seven cities

Singapore

• Event page / Venue: SANDS Expo Convention Centre / Event: December 5–6
• Window Sep 11 – Oct 12 (closed) / Winners from Nov 5 / Apply at series/8408 (admission ticket series/8409)
• On the morning of September 11 the application link pointed to the same URL as the already-closed Jakarta (series/8080); it was replaced with its own URL by September 12
• The only city with a capacity: “Capacity 192.” The only comparable figure is Gen Con 2026’s maximum of 60 per session × 2 sessions = 120, but the page does not say whether 192 is the whole event, per day or per session, so we do not read it as anything more than the number printed on the page

Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

• Event page / Venue: IOI City Mall / Event: December 12–13
• Window Sep 18 – Oct 25 (closed) / Winners from Nov 12 / Apply at series/8498 (admission ticket series/8499)
• The link from the NARUTO page to the Pre-Registration page has a zero-width space (U+200B) at the end of the URL and returns a 404 (still unfixed as of September 28). Kuala Lumpur is the only city affected; the page itself opens normally at: https://www.bandaicardgames-fest.com/26-27/en/kualalumpur/news/kl-pre-registrationd.html

Taipei (Taiwan)

• Event page / Venue: World Trade Center (台北世界貿易中心) / Event: December 19–20
• 報名 Sep 25 – Nov 3 (closed, local time) / 抽籤結果公布 from Nov 19 / Apply at series/8529 (admission ticket series/8530; both confirmed live on November 3, 2026)
• Its 40-day window is the longest of the seven, and the last of the seven to close. The gift is written as 紀念品 CP-001 查克拉卡
• The note 報名預計於2026年9月25日開始。 (registration scheduled to open September 25) is still on the page the day after the deadline, on November 4, unchanged — as is 「報名開始 2026年9月25日 - 11月3日」. No label indicating the window has closed has appeared

The gift: CP-001 Chakra Card

The “CP-001 Chakra Card” gift is a card number also handed out outside BCG Fest.

• Gen Con 2026 (July 30 – August 2, 2026) — tutorial session gift, version name “-Gen Con 2026 Ver.-”
• NYCC 2026 and PAX Aus 2026 (October 2026) — tutorial session gift, no version name given
• BCG Fest, seven Asian cities (October–December 2026) — gift for Teaching Session winners, no version name given

The same card number also has a New York Yankees Ver., and Bandai has not said whether the BCG Fest card shares the Gen Con artwork. All distribution opportunities are in our CP-001 distribution list, and card details are on the CP-001 Chakra Card page (we do not show official card images).

Stops outside Asia, and “Tutorial Session”

The seven Asian NARUTO pages call it a “Teaching Session,” while Gen Con, NYCC and PAX Aus (on the NARUTO Card Game official site) and the BCG Fest Orlando and London pages say “Tutorial Session.” Whether these are different formats or just different wording has not been explained.

• Orlando (January 7–10, 2027) and London (January 15–17, 2027) — the NARUTO pages have only a “Tutorial Session” heading and still read “Details will be updated in the future.” (checked September 13). London’s event-wide pre-registration is scheduled to open on October 25, 2026, and the site says same-day visitors cannot participate (see the event page)
• Tokyo (February 20–21 and March 6–7, 2027) — the outline was published on September 15 with NARUTO listed for both sessions. Entry is fully application-only and requires BANDAI TCG+ face photo registration. On October 16, 2026 NARUTO’s content was published: both sessions run a “体験会 in BCGFest” (no tournament is listed). The reception time, capacity and the tutorial’s application page are “to be announced,” and the visitor gift is still unannounced. The main event’s application window is November 20–29, 2026 (winners around December 14) (our Tokyo article, the contents article)

What we still don’t know

• Each city’s session day (which of the two days), times and fee (nor is it stated to be free)
• Capacity for the six cities other than Singapore, and what Singapore’s 192 counts
• Odds, and whether the NARUTO session has a waiting list
• How results are actually notified, and whether non-winners are told (Jakarta’s and Manila’s NARUTO pages still said nothing on this on September 28, after their announcement periods began)
• How the note that admission tickets cover “merchandise sales and teaching sessions” squares with “winners only”
• Why the Manila and Bangkok headings do not match
• Whether the CP-001 handed out shares the Gen Con artwork or is a different version
• Why application windows range from 14 to 40 days
• NARUTO’s content and application routes in Orlando, London and Tokyo

Summary

• The NARUTO “Teaching Session” at BCG Fest 26-27 is a lottery in all seven Asian cities; the gift is a “CP-001 Chakra Card”
• As of November 4, 2026 all seven cities are closed. Taipei, the last window still open, ended on November 3 (local time), leaving no application anywhere in the world for a named tutorial seat

• Applying requires BANDAI TCG+ face photo registration, and screening can take a week or more. Results are notified in the app
• Only winners can take part — no same-day registration or entry. Reception may check ID, and a mismatch with your account forfeits both participation and the right to buy goods. Rights are non-transferable and proxies are prohibited
• There are two routes, per-title events and an admission ticket; the admission ticket’s series ID is one higher than the NARUTO session in all seven cities
• Five cities announce winners exactly 30 days before the event — you will not know earlier than a month out
• The “scheduled to open” note never disappears and no page ever says “closed.” Go by the application window dates
