C-001 Chakra Card

[Updated October 14, 2026] **Chakra cards are not a single card: C-001 through C-005 are five distinct card numbers.** The Merchandise section of the 先行体験会 (Premier Demo Event) page published October 13, 2026 shows the card images of C-001–C-005 and S-001 together as the contents of the 「プレミアムカードコレクション vol.00 -チャクラセット-」 (Premium Card Collection vol.00 - CHAKRA set, ¥1,650 tax incl.). All five share the name "Chakra Card" and the effect text "When using Chakra, turn this card face-down." — only the artwork differs (C-001 Naruto Uzumaki, C-002 Sasuke Uchiha, C-003 Sakura Haruno, C-004 Kakashi Hatake, C-005 Gaara). It also emerged that **this C-001's artwork differs from the sample image published on July 29, 2026 on the "About the NARUTO Card Game" page**: the sample C-001 carries only an orange swirl design, while the CHAKRA set printing carries newly drawn art of Naruto Uzumaki. The card number is the same, and the official site offers no explanation of how the two relate (a separate printing, or a placeholder design in the sample). The CHAKRA set printing credits the illustrator as "Yayamihachi" and carries no "NOT FOR SALE" marking. A sample card shown in the card-type section of the official "About the NARUTO Card Game" page (images updated after the July 29, 2026 reveal). You prepare 5 of these at the start of a battle and use them to activate support effects such as jutsu. Its card number differs from the Gen Con 2026 tutorial participation gift "Chakra Card -Gen Con 2026 Ver.-" (CP-001). In the Card Types section of the official site, this card face is shown alongside a side carrying only the logo (checked October 4, 2026). For Chakra cards that side is orange with a white logo, matching the orange of the card face. Because nothing else on the table shows an orange side, turning this card face-down to pay a cost conceals nothing about what it is. The official site never describes this side as the "back" in words.
