The NARUTO Card Game in September 2026 — the official roadmap has nothing for this month, yet eight dated events are already locked in

If you go looking for “what is happening this month” on the official roadmap, September is blank.

The event roadmap on the English official site runs from Gen Con in late July to New York Comic Con, PAX Aus, Spiel Essen and Paris Games Week in October, Lucca Comics & Games from late October, and the summer 2027 release. There are no September entries, and the next “New info reveals” is listed as NYCC 2026 (October 8–11).

Check each event’s own primary source, though, and the picture changes. Eight things with confirmed dates will happen in September.

This article lists those eight in date order, and then spells out what will not happen in September — the part that is easiest to get wrong.

About this article: everything below was checked directly against official primary sources — the NARUTO Card Game official site, the per-city pages on the BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 official site, MLB’s official schedule and the New York Yankees official site. No second-hand or social-media reports are included. Anything we could not confirm is marked as “not stated”. The body reflects what we confirmed on September 3, 2026; the schedule was updated on September 7, 2026 (the differences are spelled out in the next section).

As of September 10, 2026, three of the eight are done. Manila’s application deadline on September 3; the CP-001 giveaway at Yankee Stadium on September 8 (MLB’s official attendance was 46,211, exceeding the 40,000-guest cap by 6,211); and Jakarta’s winner announcement window, which opens today, September 10. The remaining five all fall on September 11 or later.

Seven of the eight concern the lottery for the BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 “Teaching Session” demos; the eighth is the card giveaway at Yankee Stadium. September, in other words, is less a month of new announcements than a month in which an already-running lottery schedule advances.

Hong Kong’s window also runs from September 1 to September 27, so almost the whole month is a period during which you can apply for Hong Kong.

Update, September 7, 2026: four days after publication, six dated events became eight

When this article went up on September 3 there were six dated events. Two more have since been added by official updates, bringing the total to eight.

We confirmed both on September 6; the details are in our article on the Kuala Lumpur and Taipei application terms. The requirements (face photo registration in the BANDAI TCG+ app, CP-001 Chakra Card as the participant gift) match the five cities already reported.

That makes September a month in which applications open somewhere every week: Bangkok and Singapore on the 11th, Kuala Lumpur on the 18th, Taipei on the 25th. From September 11, counting Hong Kong before it closes, as many as five cities are accepting applications at once.

One more blank has been filled since publication. The Yankee Stadium CP-001 distribution terms, described in sections 2 and 8 below as “not stated as of September 3,” were confirmed on September 6 on the New York Yankees promotional schedule: “1st 40,000 Guests,” handed out at the distribution area on entry with a valid ticket for that game. The detail is in the September 6 update to our Yankee Stadium article.

Everything from here on is left as it was confirmed at publication, on September 3.

2. September 8 — a different version of CP-001 is handed out at Yankee Stadium

The clearest landmark of the month is NARUTO Night at Yankee Stadium (September 8, 2026), announced on the English official site on August 7 and carried on the franchise official site (naruto-official.com) on August 25.

What is handed out is the CP-001 Chakra Card -New York Yankees™ Ver.- — the same card number CP-001 as the Gen Con 2026 participant gift, in a version carrying the Yankees logo.

The game itself is confirmed on MLB’s official schedule

The official announcement gives no game details, but MLB’s official schedule does.

Five days out, the distribution terms are still not stated

The conditions and quantity of the giveaway remain unstated officially as of September 3. The NARUTO Card Game site says only this, then points readers to the Yankees:

A NARUTO CARD GAME “CHAKRA Card” featuring the Yankees logo will be distributed at “NARUTO x YANKEES GAME NIGHT” on September 8.

So whether it is a first-N-fans giveaway, tied to a particular ticket, or open to every attendee is written nowhere official.

Some pages online report a specific print run. We have not been able to confirm any of those figures in a primary source, so we do not print a number. If you are considering going, check the promotion listings on the official Yankees site directly.

(Update, September 7, 2026: the terms were subsequently confirmed on September 6 on the Yankees’ own promotional schedule, which reads “1st 40,000 Guests.” → details)

3. September 3 and 17 — Manila’s deadline and results

Applications for the Teaching Session at BCG Fest 26-27 Manila (October 24–25, 2026) close today, September 3 (local time), with winners announced from September 17.

The entry requirement — face photo registration in the BANDAI TCG+ app, showing “Face Photo Verified” — comes with an official note that verification can take a week or more. Starting registration today is therefore not realistically going to make the deadline; treat the remaining hours as being for people whose accounts are already verified.

4. September 10 — Jakarta’s winners

Jakarta (October 10–11, 2026), the first city whose window closed, announces winners from September 10. Applications closed on August 24.

This is the first result to land of the five cities. The announcement format (in-app notification, email or otherwise) is not stated officially, so applicants should watch the BANDAI TCG+ app.

5. September 11 — Bangkok and Singapore open on the same day

The busiest date of the month is September 11, when applications for Bangkok (November 21–22) and Singapore (December 5–6) are both scheduled to open.

From September 11, three cities are open at once including Hong Kong (through September 27).

The registration links have not changed since September 2

Rechecking both pages on September 3, the link states are unchanged from the day before.

• Bangkok — “Click here for registration” is not a link at all; it is plain text
• Singapore — the link points at bandai-tcg-plus.com/series/8080, the same URL as Jakarta, whose window has already closed

Both pages carry the note “Registration is scheduled to open on September 11,” so these may be swapped before applications open. The BANDAI TCG+ pages behind those links are rendered with JavaScript and we cannot inspect their contents, so we do not assert whether Singapore’s URL is an error or a page shared across cities.

Given that face photo verification can take a week or more, if you are aiming at the September 11 opening, today is about the last comfortable day to start. The steps are in our BANDAI TCG+ registration guide.

6. September 27 — Hong Kong’s deadline

Hong Kong (November 28–29) opened on September 1 and closes September 27, with winners announced from October 15.

With roughly four weeks in the window, it is the one city where starting face photo registration now still adds up.

All five cities’ status is listed on our pre-order and lottery hub.

7. What will not happen in September

Just as useful as the date list is what is not scheduled. Four points that are easy to get wrong:

• The game does not launch. The only announced timing is summer 2027, worldwide simultaneous
• Product pre-orders do not start. As of September 3, not a single product — booster pack, starter deck or otherwise — has been announced, so there is nothing to pre-order and no pre-order date. The BCG Fest lotteries are for seats at a demo, not for buying a product (details here)
• No card list or rulebook is published. Even the timing for these is unannounced
• No tutorial event in Japan is scheduled. BCG Fest 26-27’s Tokyo stop is still listed only as “Early 2027”, with no dates and no venue

But “not on the roadmap” does not mean “nothing will be announced”

The roadmap’s “New info reveals” marks when new information about the game itself is revealed — it does not mean individual announcements stop.

August proved the point, with several announcements that were nowhere on the roadmap:

• August 22: the BCG Fest Orlando announcement (January 7–10, 2027)
• August 28: the BCG Fest London announcement (January 15–17, 2027)
• August 28: Hong Kong’s and Bangkok’s Teaching Session application terms

Event-level announcements land independently of the roadmap. The same could happen in September for the four unpublished cities (Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Shanghai, Tokyo) or for the Orlando and London NARUTO pages.

(Update, September 7, 2026: Kuala Lumpur and Taipei published their application terms on September 4, exactly the kind of announcement that arrives independently of the roadmap. Shanghai, Tokyo, Orlando and London remain unpublished as of September 7.)

8. Still unknown

• The artwork and effect text of every CP-001 version (all unpublished)
• Each city’s Teaching Session day, time, capacity, fee and application odds
• Orlando’s and London’s Teaching Session terms (their NARUTO pages still read “Details will be updated in the future.” as of September 7)
• Tokyo’s dates and venue (listed only as “Early 2027”)
• Shanghai’s dates and venue (listed only as “December 2026”)
• The quantity at every distribution occasion other than Yankee Stadium (that is the only one with a stated number)

(Update, September 7, 2026: “the conditions, quantity and eligibility for the Yankee Stadium giveaway,” listed here at publication, was confirmed by the club on September 6 and has been removed. “Dates and venues for Kuala Lumpur and Taipei” has also been removed — both were fixed by the official pages dated September 4.)

Summary

• The roadmap on the English official site has no September entries; the next reveal is NYCC 2026 (October 8–11)
• Even so, eight dated events fall in September (six at publication, plus the Kuala Lumpur September 18 and Taipei September 25 openings confirmed on September 6), seven of them tied to the BCG Fest lottery
• September 8 at Yankee Stadium is confirmed on MLB’s schedule as Yankees vs Rockies at 7:05pm ET, and the distribution terms were confirmed by the Yankees on September 6 as “1st 40,000 Guests”
• Applications open somewhere every week in September — Bangkok and Singapore on the 11th, Kuala Lumpur on the 18th, Taipei on the 25th. Verification can take a week or more, so start registering early
• Release, product pre-orders, the card list and a Japanese tutorial event are all absent from September
