How to get NARUTO Card Game news on BANDAI TCG+ — a registration walkthrough

A news item on the official NARUTO Card Game website (dated June 18, 2026) explains how to receive the latest updates as notifications through Bandai’s official app, BANDAI TCG+. This article walks through the registration steps.

It’s a good way to get notifications about upcoming events and product news (for what the July 29 reveal covered, see our reveal roundup).

What is BANDAI TCG+?

BANDAI TCG+ is the official app used to run events for the BANDAI CARD GAMES titles. According to the official description, it lets you:

Apply to various BANDAI CARD GAMES trading card events
Check in to events at the venue
See the results of your matches, and more

The app is available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).

Registering for the “NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL” (5 steps)

The steps described on the official site are as follows.

Select the game title — Tap the TCG title shown at the top of the app and switch it to “NARUTO Card Game”
Confirm the event series — Open the “NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL,” then tap “Event Details” followed by “Confirm Event Series”
Apply to the channel — Tap “Apply,” review the contents, and confirm
Log in — Sign in with your BANDAI NAMCO ID (register one if you don’t have it yet)
Receive notifications — From then on, game updates arrive under the app’s bell icon (notifications)

One thing to note

The official page states clearly that this event page “is not for event participation at a venue” — it exists “only for receiving the latest updates on the NARUTO Card Game.” Registering for this channel is separate from applying to real events such as the tutorial sessions.

That said, applications for the real events also go through BANDAI TCG+, as confirmed later and covered below. The same app holds two separate things side by side: the updates channel, and event applications.

Also, at the Gen Con 2026 venue, the logo sticker can be claimed by following the official social accounts or registering with BANDAI TCG+, so BANDAI TCG+ may continue to serve as a hub for campaigns going forward.

[Update, August 31, 2026] Teaching Session applications also run on BANDAI TCG+

The city pages for BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 have published the application details for the NARUTO Card Game “Teaching Session.” Across all five cities checked (Jakarta, Manila, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore), the pages state that applications are made through BANDAI TCG+. Registering for the updates channel described above does not enter you into a Teaching Session. If you plan to apply, two more things are needed.

Face photo verification is mandatory

Each city page lists, as a condition of applying, that your BANDAI TCG+ account must be in the “Face Photo Verified” state. Three details matter here:

The official text says verification may take a week or longer, and applications that are not verified within the registration window will not be accepted
The photo itself is registered through a MOALA account, and 13 kinds of photo are rejected (glare on glasses, masks, hats, headphones, smiling, and more)
A registered photo is valid for three years, so one registration covers applications to several cities

In other words, starting the process on the day applications open may be too late. If you are considering applying, get the face photo verified before the window opens rather than waiting for it.
