The US price of the -Naruto vs Sasuke- playmat differs *within* the BCG Fest official site: the merchandise list says USD $40.00, the detail page that list links to says USD $35.00
[Updated November 6, 2026] Both discrepancies recorded in this article have been resolved. Re-pulling the listings and detail pages for both events on November 6, 2026, the MSRP on product detail page 827.html has gone from USD $35.00 to USD $40.00, matching the MSRP: 40 USD on the NARUTO Card Game English official site. The point this article made — that the NARUTO playmat was the only one of London’s 17 items without a GBP price — has also been resolved: £48.00 GBP (VAT included) now appears on both the listing and the detail page (and the listing format flipped from USD $40.00 to $40.00 USD, matching the other 16 items). There is no correction notice, and the change can only be dated between October 25 and November 6 (neither page has a single Wayback Machine snapshot). Details in our November 6 article. The text below is the record as of October 25, 2026.
Two price tags for the same product, hanging on the same site.
In our article of October 18 we reported that the US price of the Official Playmat -NARUTO vs. SASUKE- conflicted between the NARUTO CARD GAME official site (US$40) and the BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest official site (US$35.00).
Today (October 25, 2026) we went back and checked every product on the BCG Fest side. The conflict is not only between the two sites — it also sits inside the BCG Fest official site.
Basis for this article: everything below is text published on the BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 official site (the merchandise pages for the Orlando, London, Tokyo and Asia stops) and the English NARUTO CARD GAME official site, as confirmed by this site on October 25, 2026. Both are official Bandai sites. We quote the original wording and say so where we could not confirm something.
The list says US$40.00, the detail page it links to says US$35.00
BCG Fest merchandise pages have two levels. Products are lined up on a per-stop merchandise list, and each item’s VIEW MORE button opens its product detail page.
There is exactly one NARUTO product at the Orlando and London stops, and at both the detail page is 827.html. The two levels price it like this.
| Page | Price as printed |
|---|---|
| Orlando merchandise list | MSRP USD $40.00 |
Orlando detail 827.html | MSRP USD $35.00 |
| London merchandise list | MSRP USD $40.00 |
London detail 827.html | MSRP USD $35.00 |
The relevant markup on the list pages reads as follows at both stops.
<h4 class="productsName">Official Playmat -Naruto vs Sasuke-</h4><div class="priceCol"><span>MSRP</span>USD $40.00</div><a href="/26-27/en/london/products/827.html">VIEW MORE</a>
And the linked 827.html reads:
SPECIAL PRODUCTS NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Naruto vs Sasuke- NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Naruto vs Sasuke- MSRP USD $35.00 Contents Playmat x 1
Press the button on the list and a price tag five dollars cheaper comes up.
This happens with NARUTO only. We compared the list price field against the detail price field, item by item, for every product on both lists (17 at London, 21 at Orlando).
The NARUTO playmat is the only mismatch at either stop. The single-currency Playmat & Action Point Cards Set [Umamusume: Pretty Derby], for example, reads USD $45.00 on both the list and the detail page.
Note that two-currency products show only the pound price on their detail pages (e.g. list $15.00 USD + £17.99 GBP (VAT included) → detail £17.99 GBP (VAT included)). That holds at Orlando too, which shows the detail pages are not built per stop. Because the NARUTO playmat has no pound price, its detail page stays in US dollars.
Add the NARUTO official site and it is two pages against one
Now add the Premier Demo Event page on the English NARUTO CARD GAME official site. Its wording is unchanged from October 18.
Available at Premier Demo Wave 1 NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -NARUTO vs. SASUKE- MSRP: 40 USD
So three kinds of official page currently publish a US price for this product, and two say US$40 while one says US$35.
| Source (all official Bandai) | US price |
|---|---|
| NARUTO official (English, Premier Demo Event) | 40 USD |
| BCG Fest merchandise list (Orlando, London) | USD $40.00 |
BCG Fest product detail 827.html (Orlando, London) | USD $35.00 |
What we quoted on October 18 was the third row — the detail page. We had not recorded the list page’s price field. We therefore cannot determine whether the list always read USD $40.00 or was rewritten after the 18th. The list page has no Wayback Machine snapshot at all (we checked the October 15–25 range via the CDX API), so there is no external record either.
What is established today is not “it changed” but “the list and the detail page of the same site disagree.” Our October 23 article said “the Fest-side listings have not changed in five days”; because what we checked there were the product IDs (826/827/828) and the detail pages, that statement does not extend to the list page’s price field. We have added a note to that article.
Of London’s 17 products, only NARUTO has no pound price
The full comparison turned up one more thing.
The London merchandise list carries 17 products. Sixteen are priced in two currencies; the NARUTO playmat alone is US dollars only.
All 16 sit in the EVENT COMMEMORATIVE PRODUCTS slot, and their prices are formatted alike:
- Playmat & Card Set Championship 26-27 KV (
$45.00 USD/£53.99 GBP (VAT included)) - Playmat&Card Set -Luffy&Bonney- (
$43.00 USD/£53.99 GBP (VAT included)) - Premium Card Collection 03 (
$15.00 USD/£17.99 GBP (VAT included)) - Official Card Sleeves Ver. Gallantmon: Crimson Mode (
$10.00 USD/£11.99 GBP (VAT included))
The one NARUTO item sits in the SPECIAL PRODUCTS slot, and its price field is USD $40.00 alone. There is no pound line.
The notation differs as well. The other 16 run figure-then-currency ($45.00 USD); NARUTO runs currency-then-figure (USD $40.00). That prefixed form also appears on the four single-currency items at the Orlando stop (the Umamusume and BLEACH playmat sets, Official Card Sleeve Kawaii Style and Mecha Style). Single-currency items use the prefixed form is a visible correspondence, but the official pages offer no explanation for it.
London sells merchandise on site under an On Site Retail Ticket, with registration opening not today but on January 10, 2027 at 9:00am GMT (what opens today at 9:00am GMT is advance registration for admission). Payment on the day will presumably be in pounds, yet the NARUTO product is the one with no pound tag.
The Asia stops show no price field at all; Tokyo’s list and detail agree
We checked the same structure at the other stops.
| Stop | NARUTO products listed | Price display |
|---|---|---|
| Orlando, London | -Naruto vs Sasuke- only | List US$40.00 / detail US$35.00 |
| Seven Asia stops | -Arriving in 2027- only | None, on list or detail |
| Tokyo | All three | List and detail agree (yen) |
At the seven Asia stops (Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei) the list has no price field and the detail page has no MSRP row at all — the text starts at the contents line instead. That line follows each stop’s page language: Contents Playmat x 1 at the four English stops, Thai at Bangkok (รายละเอียด เพลย์แมต 1 ผืน) and Traditional Chinese at Hong Kong and Taipei (內容 戲墊板1張). The detail page’s product ID differs by stop: 426.html at Jakarta, Manila, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, 726.html at Bangkok, and 526.html at Hong Kong and Taipei (we checked all seven individually). That is unchanged from the state we confirmed on October 13.
Tokyo carries all three products, and the figures agree between list and detail.
| Product (Tokyo stop) | List | Detail |
|---|---|---|
Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027- (826.html) | ¥3,850 (tax incl.) | ¥3,850 (tax incl.) |
Official Playmat -NARUTO vs. SASUKE- (827.html) | ¥3,850 (tax incl.) | ¥3,850 (tax incl.) |
Premium Card Collection vol.00 -CHAKRA set- (828.html) | ¥1,650 (tax incl.) | ¥1,650 (tax incl.) |
There is no discrepancy in yen. The figures also match the Japanese official site’s 先行体験会 (Premier Demo Event) page (¥ 3,850 and ¥ 1,650, tax incl.). The CHAKRA set remains listed at Tokyo’s 828.html even after the October 22 correction removed Orlando and London.
How to treat this
If you are buying in Japan, this discrepancy costs you nothing. The yen price is consistently ¥3,850 (tax incl.) and the routes are clear: the Premier Demo Events (January 16 – March 21, 2027, 11 venues nationwide) and the Premium Bandai sale tied to BCG Fest Tokyo (general advance sale from 19:00 on January 8, 2027).
It matters if you plan to buy on site at Orlando or London.
- Budget US$40 for the dollar figure — two of the three pages, including the NARUTO official one
- No pound estimate can be made (none is published; across the other 16 items the US$→£ ratio runs about 1.20×, e.g. $15→£17.99 and $45→£53.99)
- US$35 is the same figure as the existing -Arriving in 2027- playmat (MSRP $35 + tax). Whether a figure was carried over is unexplained by the official side, and we do not assert it
What is still unknown
- Which is correct, the list’s US$40.00 or the detail page’s US$35.00 — no explanation and no correction notice. When the list came to read US$40.00 is also unknown (we did not record the list price field on October 18, and the page has no Wayback Machine snapshot)
- A pound price for the London stop — the other 16 items have one; NARUTO does not, and no reason is given
- Prices at the seven Asia stops — nothing on list or detail, and whether they will appear in local currency or US dollars is unannounced
- The per-person purchase limit at Orlando and London — Japan’s Premier Demo Events cap it at one per person, but neither stop’s merchandise page states a limit
- The playmat’s size and specifications — unannounced in both languages
Summary
- The merchandise lists for BCG Fest 26-27 Orlando and London read
USD $40.00, while the product detail pages theirVIEW MORElinks open (827.html) readUSD $35.00. Two levels of one site, two figures - The English NARUTO CARD GAME official site reads
MSRP: 40 USD, so two of three official pages say US$40 and one says US$35 - Across every product at both stops, the NARUTO playmat is the only item whose list and detail prices disagree (17 at London, 21 at Orlando)
- What we quoted on October 18 was the detail page’s
USD $35.00; we had not recorded the list price field, so we cannot date when the list came to read US$40.00 - Of London’s 17 listed products, the NARUTO playmat is the only one with no pound price. The other 16 appear as
$45.00 USDplus£53.99 GBP (VAT included)and so on - The notation differs too: the other 16 run figure-then-currency, NARUTO runs currency-then-figure, matching the other single-currency items
- The Asia stops list no price at all, while Tokyo’s three products agree between list and detail (¥3,850 / ¥3,850 / ¥1,650, tax incl.)
- There is no discrepancy in yen, and the purchase routes inside Japan are unchanged
We reflect the latest prices and sales routes in our product database and preorder & lottery hub, and will update the same day if an official correction appears.
