Gen Con 2026 on-site guide: how to get to the Tutorial Session

Update (July 30, 2026): Both Tutorial Sessions have been sold out since July 17, so new ticket registration is no longer possible. STEP 2 is kept as a record of the original process — even without a ticket, you can still pick up the backpack and logo sticker giveaways at the venue (see below). STEP 1. Secure your Gen Con admission

The demo takes place inside the Gen Con 2026 venue, so admission to Gen Con itself (a badge) is a prerequisite. Alongside your travel and lodging plans, lock in a badge via the Gen Con website.

STEP 2. Register for a Tutorial Session ticket

Attending a Tutorial Session requires ticket registration on the Gen Con website (registration opens June 21 at 12:00 PDT).

Participation is limited to one session per person across the whole event
Demand is likely to be high, so registering early once sign-ups open is recommended

STEP 3. On the day, join the session at Event Room #121

On the day, Event Room #121 inside the venue is the NARUTO Card Game demo space. Follow the staff’s guidance to join the Tutorial Session.

STEP 4. Make use of the playmat voucher

The official playmat ($35, plus tax) can be purchased only by participants holding the voucher received at the session. If you’re after the playmat, joining a session to obtain the voucher is the prerequisite.

Even if you don’t join a session

Attendees who don’t take part in the demo can still receive:
