Breaking: the BCG Fest Taipei lottery opens — all seven Asian cities' series IDs are now published, "+1 is the admission ticket" holds for a seventh, and the five-city overlap ends tomorrow, September 27

The NARUTO Card Game page for the Taipei stop of BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 was updated on September 25, 2026, and the registration link — until now plain text with no href — has been replaced with a live link to BANDAI TCG+. We confirmed this today, September 26.

That completes the series IDs for all seven Asian cities.

About this article: Every date, series ID and note below was checked directly today on the official BCG Fest site’s Taipei pages (Traditional Chinese) — the NARUTO page and the Pre-Registration page, both of which display an update date of 2026.09.25. The other cities’ dates were re-checked on their own official pages today as well.

1. What changed — the registration link, before and after

This is exactly the pattern seen in Bangkok and Singapore and Kuala Lumpur: the page is updated on the scheduled opening day, and the text destination becomes a live link. The seventh city repeated it.

Note that the line “報名預計於2026年9月25日開始。” (registration is scheduled to open on September 25) is still on the page even now that the date has passed. That too matches the other cities, so a lingering note is not a sign that the window is still shut.

2. Taipei’s schedule

Here is what the Taipei event page states as confirmed today.

The 40-day application window is the longest of the seven cities. From the November 3 deadline to the December 19 event day there are 46 days.

The Pre-Registration page carries the same notes we catalogued on September 13: the event is open only to those drawn in the lottery, with no same-day entry, and applying requires face photo registration in the BANDAI TCG+ app, with your profile showing as verified during the application window — approval, the page notes, can take a week or more.

3. The admission ticket is series/8530 — “+1” holds for a seventh city

Taipei’s Pre-Registration page also published the admission ticket destination: bandai-tcg-plus.com/series/8530.

In the September 19 Kuala Lumpur article we recorded that the admission ticket’s series ID had been exactly one above the NARUTO session’s in six cities running. Taipei goes 8529 → 8530, making it a seventh match.

The series IDs for all seven Asian cities are now published.

Taipei’s number (8529) sits well above Hong Kong’s (8207) and Kuala Lumpur’s (8498), so the numbering is evidently assigned per stop, after the fact.

Unconfirmed: Nothing official explains the numbering. “+1 is the admission ticket” is a pattern observed across seven cities, not something the publisher has stated as a rule. Whether it holds for Tokyo (main event applications run November 20–29, destination unpublished), Orlando or London is unknown.

4. The five cities open now, by deadline

With Taipei added, five cities are open at once. Sorted by deadline:

But this five-city line-up ends tomorrow, September 27.

It played out exactly as the September 19 article put it: if Taipei opened on September 25, five cities would overlap for just the three days up to Hong Kong’s September 27 deadline. Today, September 26, is day two of those three.

Jakarta and Manila have already closed.

5. The deadline that arrives first — the face-photo limit

As covered in the September 11 face photo article, applying requires your BANDAI TCG+ face photo registration to be approved while the window is open, and the official pages note that approval can take a week or more.

So the date that actually binds is not the deadline itself but seven days before it.

Tomorrow, September 27, is both Hong Kong’s application deadline and Bangkok’s face-photo limit.

Hong Kong’s target date (September 20) has already passed, so starting face photo registration now to apply for Hong Kong is unlikely to clear approval in time. Taipei’s target is October 27, the most slack of the five.

Note: the “seven days” is our own figure, worked back from the official note that approval can take a week or more — it is not a period the publisher recommends. The actual review time is unpublished, so more margin is safer.

6. What was not added

The Taipei update also left some fields unchanged.

• No capacity field. Among the seven cities, Singapore’s 192 is still the only published capacity
• Which of the two event days the session falls on is not stated (December 19 or 20 is unknown)
• Start times, fees and the odds of being drawn are not stated either

7. Nothing moved on the official site

As of today the NARUTO Card Game official site still shows Sep. 04, 2026 as its latest English news and 2026.07.29 in Japanese — no update. The Japanese/English gap we documented on September 14 is unchanged.

Across all seven cities, registration information has moved on the BCG Fest pages before the official site.

8. What we still do not know

• Which day the session runs, its start times, capacity, fee, and the odds of being drawn
• Whether the CP-001 handed out matches the Gen Con 2026 version in artwork and effect text (no official statement)
• The series IDs for Tokyo, Orlando and London (unpublished; whether “+1” continues is unknown)
• How the note that admission tickets allow access only to merchandise sales and teaching sessions squares with the session being winners-only — the point we raised on September 13 is still unexplained today
