Chidori Sasuke Uchiha is the only one of six revealed Sasuke cards with a readable cost — and counting the attribute traits, Earth is the only one of the five natures at zero

This is entry 22 in our single-card analysis series. Today we read Sasuke Uchiha (Chidori).

This card is the last Character card with both stats and effect text confirmed that we had not yet given a single-card analysis. Its effect text, though, was already handled head-on in the September 24 article on Naruto Uzumaki (N-004), where the two lines turned out to be identical to the letter.

So today we look at the trait line and at the blanks in the card number and rarity. Recounting the trait data starting from this card’s Lightning revealed a lopsidedness that runs across everything revealed so far.

How we know this: The card face of Sasuke Uchiha (Chidori) comes from high-resolution scan images of the English-language demo card distributed at Gen Con 2026 (SAMPLE watermark, NOT FOR SALE marking; posted by an X user). Neither the official site nor the official X accounts have published this card face. Because the source is not an officially published image, this article carries no quoted card image. The attribute traits counted later in this article do include the 12 artwork versions, whose source is the images in the official site’s ARTWORK gallery. The totals are based on the 38 entries in our card database (34 with a readable trait line, 20 Characters with both POW and HP readable, 12 with a readable chakra cost).

The effect text runs two lines.

[Support] Chidori: One Thousand Birds [During Your Main] K.O. all Characters.

That second line is identical to the letter to the “Rasengan” line on Naruto Uzumaki (N-004), the two cards’ POW/HP are swapped at 5/4 and 4/5, and [During Your Main] is printed on no other revealed card — all confirmed in the September 24 article. We leave that aside here and look at the trait line and the blanks.

2. Of the six Sasuke cards, only this one has a readable cost

Six “Sasuke Uchiha” cards have been revealed. As set out in the article on card versions (Aug 9), they mix Leader, EX, plain Character and artwork versions.

Of the six, Chidori Sasuke is the only one whose chakra cost can be read off the card.

There are reasons behind the breakdown. As covered in the Leader card article (Aug 5), Leader cards have no cost field, and as covered in the EX Character article (Aug 5), EX Characters arrive via [Summon Requirements], so N-014’s cost is unreadable too. The three artwork versions are sample images from the official site’s ARTWORK gallery, with cost and effect text unpublished.

In other words, this is the only revealed Sasuke Uchiha with complete numbers as a card you pay chakra to summon normally — the same position Naruto Uzumaki (N-004) holds among the six Naruto cards.

3. Recounting attribute traits across 34 cards — 7 kinds, 37 entries

Now to the front of the trait line: Lightning.

The article compiling the traits (Aug 3) confirmed a pattern in how traits are ordered: attribute-like traits come first, affiliation and relationship traits after. That article counted the 22 demo cards as the main set and the 12 artwork versions separately. Here we count the 34 cards with a readable trait line as one set, looking only at the attribute-style traits.

Seven kinds, 37 entries in total. The 34 cards yield 37 entries because four cards carry two attribute-style traits.

Of the five chakra natures (Fire, Water, Wind, Lightning, Earth), not one revealed card carries Earth.

Four of the five nature transformations that the original series lines up appear in trait lines; only Earth is missing. Because words outside the five natures — Taijutsu, Illusion — also occupy that slot, we cannot even confirm that the slot is built around the five natures in the first place.

Unconfirmed: The official side does not call these front-of-line words “attributes.” The “attribute-style” grouping is our own shorthand, derived from the ordering in the Aug 3 article. Earth sitting at 0 only means it has not been published yet; it is no indication that it will not appear.

4. Five of the eight Lightning entries are Sasuke Uchiha

Chidori Sasuke’s Lightning is the second most common attribute-style trait at 8, behind Special. The breakdown makes the skew obvious.

Five of the eight are “Sasuke Uchiha,” and only three cards besides Sasuke carry the trait.

The only Sasuke card among the six without Lightning is one artwork version (Special / Hidden Leaf Village).

Chidori Sasuke’s attribute slot holds Lightning alone, unlike the Fire + Lightning pair on the Leader (N-012) and the EX (N-014). But this cannot be stated as fact — as noted in the card database, the scan images could only be read as far as “Lightning / Uchiha Clan,” so the trait line may continue.

5. Wind belongs to Naruto and Minato — father and son, four cards

Reading the four Wind entries the same way shows another skew.

All four Wind entries are three Naruto Uzumaki cards and one Minato Namikaze — father and son, and nobody else so far.

Lightning clusters on Sasuke with five entries; Wind is limited to the Naruto/Minato four. As confirmed in the September 20 article on Minato (N-007), Minato is also the only card carrying both Wind and Lightning.

6. Hinata Hyuga is the only card with no attribute-style trait

We checked the other direction too. Among the 34 cards with readable trait lines, exactly one carries no attribute-style trait at all.

Hinata Hyuga: Hyuga Clan / Hidden Leaf Village / Team 8

All three words are affiliation or relationship traits, with no attribute-style word at the front. In the other direction, four cards carry two:

Exactly one attribute-style trait, as on Chidori Sasuke, applies to 29 cards, making it the majority. Since the count swings between 0, 1 and 2, we can at least say from the card faces that this is not a slot that every card must fill exactly once.

Unconfirmed: As covered in the Hinata article (Sep 25), her card face also comes from demo card scan images, so there is no guarantee the trait line is not truncated. What the attribute-style word governs — a Leader’s colour, cost payment, or something else — has also gone unexplained by the official side since the Aug 3 article.

7. Tied for the smallest POW+HP among the four Cost 2 cards

Back to the stat line. As covered in the article tallying chakra costs (Aug 16), 12 cards have a readable cost, and four of them are Cost 2.

Among the four Cost 2 cards, Chidori Sasuke and Naruto N-004 are tied for the smallest POW+HP at 9.

All four are DMG 1, and they are the substance of the inversion confirmed in the Aug 16 article: the body total (POW+HP) is in fact smaller on the Cost 2 cards. Cost 1 Kakashi Hatake N-009 is 7/4 = 11 and Choji Akimichi is 7/3 = 10, so the two smallest Cost 2 cards have smaller bodies than the top of the Cost 1 group.

POW 4 itself is, as confirmed in the September 26 article on Orochimaru, the minimum across the 20 cards with readable POW and HP, shared by Orochimaru, Karin N-010 and Chidori Sasuke. All three also share the pattern of HP exceeding POW.

8. Only this card and Hinata have neither a number nor a rarity

Finally, the blanks. Among the 20 Characters with both POW and HP readable, five have no readable card number and four have no readable rarity.

Only Chidori Sasuke and Hinata Hyuga are missing both.

Orochimaru, Sakura and Choji have no number but do show a rarity (SR, R, R); Karin and Itachi are the reverse, with numbers (N-010, N-013) readable. These two cards alone have both the number and the rarity blank.

As set out in the article on the card numbering system (Sep 7), N-002, N-015, N-017, N-018 and N-020 remain missing from the revealed N-0xx range.

This part is speculation: Chidori Sasuke’s number could be one of those gaps, but there is nothing whatsoever indicating which. Whether the gaps even represent unpublished cards has been unconfirmed since the Sep 7 article. No conclusion can be drawn.

9. What is still unknown

• The card number and rarity (cut off in the images; which gap it fills is unknown too)
• Whether the trait line continues (the scans could only be read as far as “Lightning / Uchiha Clan”)
• Whether any card carries the Earth trait (0 revealed; whether the slot is built around the five natures is also unconfirmed)
• What the attribute-style trait governs (no official explanation of any link to Leader colours or cost payment)
• Whether it is the same card as any of the three artwork Sasuke versions (the artwork versions have no published stats or effects)
• The Japanese card name, effect text and jutsu name (only the English demo card is confirmed)
• Which product it appears in (unannounced)

All of these wait on the official rulebook and card list. We will update the card database page and this article as they are confirmed.

Summary

• Sasuke Uchiha (Chidori) is a Character card with Cost 2 / DMG 1 / POW 4 / HP 5 and the traits Lightning and Uchiha Clan. Its card number and rarity are not readable in the images
• Of the six revealed “Sasuke Uchiha” cards, this is the only one with a readable chakra cost (Leaders have no cost field, EX Characters use [Summon Requirements], and the three artwork versions are unpublished)
