- The official site quietly changed "10 stores nationwide" to "11 stores nationwide" — an 18-day count mismatch resolved with no correction note, while the same site's English page carries an explicit "Correction Notice"As of today (October 31, 2026) the heading on the Japanese NARUTO CARD GAME official site's 先行体験会 (Premier Demo Event) page reads 「NAURTOカードゲームの先行体験会を全国11店舗で開催！」 — "held at 11 stores nationwide." Since the page went live on October 13, this site has recorded a count mismatch: the heading said 10 stores while the venue list contained 11 venues. Our October 20 article listed "whether the heading will be corrected" as an open question. That 18-day mismatch has now been resolved. The posting date still reads "2026.10.13" and there is no correction note. The misspelling of the series name as "NAURTO" remains unfixed in both the heading and the lead sentence. A full-text comparison against the October 15 Wayback Machine snapshot shows only three differences, and our own October 20 record narrows the rewrite window to between October 20 and October 31. We also place the official site's two correction practices side by side: the English page carries an explicit "*Correction Notice (October 22, 2026)."
- The re-release was built as a 21st reservation window — Lucca’s playmat booking page gains a window whose reservation and collection times are identical, but `Closed` hides how many were releasedOn day two of Lucca Comics & Games 2026 (October 29, 2026), where the NARUTO Card Game tutorial sessions are running, Play-system’s playmat booking page had grown from yesterday’s 20 reservation windows to 21. The new one reads “17:00 / 28 October 2026 / Collection: 28 Oct 17:00”. All 20 original windows followed one rule — collection falls exactly one week after the reservation day — but this 21st window has the same date and the same hour for both. It is our first confirmation that the re-release clause written into the page (approximately 17:00 each event day, subject to availability) is implemented as an actual reservation window. Its state, however, is `Closed`, so the page does not show how many playmats were released or whether any sold. We also got the result of the test we set out yesterday: October 22’s four windows flipped to `Closed` exactly as predicted. Today’s split is 9 `Closed` and 12 `Sold out`.
- Lucca opens: the playmat booking page rewrites day one’s four windows from “Sold out” to “Closed” — our first sighting of the `closed` state, and it flipped at 00:17 Italian time, before any collectionLucca Comics & Games 2026, where the NARUTO Card Game tutorial sessions are held, opened today (October 28, 2026). Checking Play-system’s playmat booking page on opening morning, the four windows that opened on October 21 — all for collection today — had changed from “Sold out” to “Closed”. On October 24 we recorded that the page’s CSS defines a `closed` state yet used it on none of the windows, so this is our first sighting of it. We checked at 00:17 Italian time, before a single collection had taken place. The remaining 16 windows still read “Sold out”, so two states now sit on the same page. And because `Closed` overwrites `Sold out`, from today the page no longer shows that all 20 windows sold out. The only purchase route left today is the re-release at approximately 17:00 (about 1:00 on October 29 JST).
- The US price of the -Naruto vs Sasuke- playmat differs *within* the BCG Fest official site: the merchandise list says USD $40.00, the detail page that list links to says USD $35.00Comparing the merchandise lists for the Orlando and London stops of BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 against the product detail pages their own "VIEW MORE" buttons link to (827.html in both cases), the US price of the "NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Naruto vs Sasuke-" reads USD $40.00 on the list and USD $35.00 on the detail page. The English NARUTO CARD GAME official site gives the same product as MSRP: 40 USD, so two of the three official pages say US$40 and one says US$35. Checking all of London's 17 listed products, the NARUTO playmat is also the only one with no pound price. All confirmed October 25, 2026.
- A fifth language version appears: the official site now links to 简体中文 — on a separate domain, naruto-ncg.cn, and it is the only one that does not say June 2027The NARUTO Card Game official site has added 简体中文 (Simplified Chinese) to its language switcher. The link does not stay on naruto-cardgame.com — it points to a separate domain, naruto-ncg.cn, aimed at mainland China. The game is called 火影忍者卡牌对战 in its body copy, the social accounts are Bilibili, Xiaohongshu and Douyin, and the app promoted is 万代卡牌APP — a different set from the existing four versions. It is also the only one of the five that writes the release window as "early summer 2027" rather than June 2027, and its roadmap lists just one item, with no demo sessions at all. We line up the five card-type terms and the deck count against the other four versions (all checked October 23, 2026).
- Breaking: CHAKRA set will not be sold at BCG Fest Orlando or London — official "Correction Notice" dated October 22 answers the question we left open 5 days agoA "Correction Notice" dated October 22, 2026 has been added to the Premier Demo Event page on the English NARUTO CARD GAME official site. It covers the Premium Card Collection vol.00 -CHAKRA set- (MSRP: 20 USD) and states that the product will not be sold at the Orlando and London stops of BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27. That answers the question we left unresolved on October 18. However, the two lines announcing Orlando and London availability are still sitting directly above the correction, the playmat in the same section carries no correction, and the US dollar price discrepancy is untouched. The notice appears in only one of the four language versions, and none of the purchase routes inside Japan are affected. All confirmed October 23, 2026.
- Lucca's playmat booking sells out on day one — the first sell-out on a product sales slot, and why collection slots land an hour later in Japan than the windows that produced them [Updated October 26: all 20 windows sold out, leaving only the daily re-release at about 17:00][Updated October 28, 2026] On the day Lucca opened, the four windows that opened on October 21 (all for collection today, October 28) changed from "Sold out" to "Closed". It is our first sighting of the `closed` label we described on October 24 as defined in the CSS but unused, and the remaining 16 windows still read "Sold out". We saw the change at 00:17 Italian time, before a single collection today had taken place, and because `Closed` overwrites `Sold out`, from today the page no longer shows that all 20 windows sold out. Details are in our October 28 article. [Updated October 26, 2026] The final four windows that opened on October 25 also read "Sold out", so all 20 are now gone. A five-day run of four windows selling out on the day they opened has ended, and the foot of the page reads "There are no available windows at the moment.". The only route left is the re-release of cancellation and no-show stock from approximately 17:00 on each event day (about 1:00 the next morning in Japan), and the original attaches a "subject to availability" caveat. [Updated October 25, 2026] The four windows that opened on October 24 now read "Sold out" as well, taking 16 of the 20. Only the four for October 25 (today) remain, and all of them are for collection on November 1, the final day of the event. In Japan time they open today at 18:00, 20:00, 22:00 and 00:00 the next day. [Updated October 24, 2026] The four windows that opened on October 22 and the four on October 23 now read "Sold out" too, taking 12 of the 20 windows. Only the eight for October 24 and 25 remain, and the pattern of selling out on the day a window opens has now held for three days running. The booking page's CSS also defines a "Closed" state for expiry, yet all 12 carry "Sold out" instead. Below is the article as published on October 22, reporting the first day's sell-out. Checking the Lucca Comics & Games playmat reservation page today — the target of the "Playmat Ticket Page" button on the official English site — all four windows that opened on October 21 (for collection on October 28) now read "Sold out". When we read the same page yesterday all 20 windows read "Coming soon", so the first day's allocation went on the day its first window opened. This is the first time we have confirmed a "Sold out" label on a sales slot for a NARUTO Card Game product through an official route. We also set out an easily missed asymmetry in the time difference. We published the Japan times for the booking windows yesterday, including the hour-long shift on October 25; what is new here is the collection side. Every collection day (October 28 to November 1) falls after the end of EU summer time, so the "exactly one week later, same time" mapping holds in Italian local time while a 10:00 booking window (17:00 Japan time) corresponds to an 18:00 collection slot.
- A euro price appears for the "-Arriving in 2027-" playmat — Lucca's reservation page now reads "€42.90, VAT included", and the first booking window opens todayThe "Playmat Ticket Page" button on the official English Lucca Comics & Games page links to a Reserve Playmat page run by the Italian operator Play-system. As of today that page carries a line it did not carry when we read it in full on October 15: "The playmat costs €42.90, VAT included." This is the first euro-denominated price for any NARUTO Card Game product confirmable through an official route. The same product — NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027- — now has published prices in three currencies: ¥3,850 (tax incl.) in Japan, MSRP $35 (+tax) on the official English pages, and €42.90 (VAT incl.) at Lucca. Put them on the same tax footing and all three land on a pre-tax figure of "35". We also confirmed that the first of the 20 booking windows opens today at 10:00 Italian time, and that the official pages for SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week — both opening tomorrow in the eurozone — still show the US dollar MSRP.
- The -NARUTO vs. SASUKE- playmat now carries two official US prices: US$40 and US$35The merchandise pages for the Orlando and London stops of BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 now list "NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Naruto vs Sasuke-" at MSRP USD $35.00. The English NARUTO Card Game official site, meanwhile, gives the same product as MSRP: 40 USD on its Premier Demo Event page. Two US prices for one product now sit side by side on Bandai official sites. The Chakra Set, which the NARUTO site explicitly says will also be sold at Orlando and London, does not appear on either venue Fest merchandise page. All checked October 18, 2026.
- There are five Chakra Cards, C-001 to C-005 — the CHAKRA set's contents read from its card images, and the Naruto and Sasuke samples turn out to have different artworkThe Merchandise section of the 先行体験会 (Premier Demo Event) page published on October 13, 2026 shows six card images for the Premium Card Collection vol.00 -CHAKRA set- (¥1,650 tax incl.). The card numbers read C-001, C-002, C-003, C-004, C-005 and S-001, and C-002 through C-005 are card numbers revealed here for the first time. All five Chakra cards share the same name and effect text; only the artwork differs (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Gaara). The C-001 and S-001 artwork also differs from the samples published on July 29. We read every card face one by one, including what the official site never puts into words.
- The NARUTO official playmat is listed on BCG Fest merchandise pages — under "SPECIAL PRODUCTS" at seven Asian stops, while Orlando and London, the two the press release named, list noneWe opened the merchandise page of all eleven BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 stops one by one. The NARUTO Card Game product "NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027-" is listed at seven Asian stops (Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei), filed under "SPECIAL PRODUCTS" rather than the "EVENT COMMEMORATIVE PRODUCTS" heading used for every other title. Orlando and London — the two stops BANDAI's press release named for the two advance-release exclusives — list no NARUTO product at all, and the Tokyo stop has no merchandise page for any title. - The Demo Events Roll Out in Two Stages — "Wave 1 → Wave 2," Starting at Select Large-Scale BANDAI TCG+ Stores. The BCG Fest Venues Selling the Two Exclusives Are Named: Orlando and LondonBANDAI's English press release describes the in-store demo events beginning in February 2027 (Premier Demo Events; in Japanese, NARUTOカードゲーム 先行体験会) as a two-stage rollout. Wave 1 starts at select large-scale stores participating in BANDAI TCG+, with more stores added in Wave 2. The BANDAI CARD GAMES FEST 26-27 venues that will sell the two exclusives are not just "select" — Orlando and London are named. And the two Japanese primary sources differ on the start: "from early 2027" versus "from February 2027." Here is the schedule to launch, split into what is fixed and what is not.
- The First Booster Pack's Japanese Name Is "Sanjo! Uzumaki Naruto" — The Same as the Subtitle of Episode 1 of the Anime. Japanese Names for the Demo Events and the Two Exclusives Are Out Too, and There Are Two Official English NamesOn October 11, 2026 the official NARUTO site (naruto-official.com) published the New York Comic Con 2026 announcement in Japanese, revealing the Japanese names: the first Booster Pack is "参上！うずまきナルト" (Sanjo! Uzumaki Naruto), the in-store events are "NARUTOカードゲーム 先行体験会," and the two exclusives are "オフィシャルプレイマット -ナルトvsサスケ-" and "プレミアムカードコレクション vol.00 -チャクラセット-." That booster title can be found on the official site's anime episode list as the subtitle of Episode 1 of NARUTO (Land of Waves arc). Meanwhile two different official English names exist, the Japanese names of the three Starter Decks are still unannounced, and the card game site's roadmap still reads "Summer 2027" as of October 12.
- Launch Is "June 2027" — Three Starter Decks Led by Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara, First Booster Pack "Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!", In-Store Demos in February and 1 Million Demo Decks in SpringAt the "NARUTO: What's Next?" panel at New York Comic Con 2026, the NARUTO Card Game's launch month was narrowed to June 2027. According to BANDAI's official press release dated October 10, 2026, the launch lineup is three Starter Decks (led by Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara) plus the first Booster Pack, "Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!". Premier Demo Events begin at participating TCG stores in February 2027, and a global campaign distributing 1 million Demo Decks starts in spring 2027. - Next Play Handles the NARUTO Card Game's "Game Rule Development, Card List Creation and Operations Support" — Listed on the Studio's Own Site, in Exactly the Same Three Lines as the ONE PIECE CARD GAMEThe "Work" page of card game developer Next Play Inc. lists NARUTO CARD GAME alongside three roles — "Game rule development / Card list creation / Operations support" — confirmed by this site on October 1, 2026. They are the exact same three lines shown for the ONE PIECE CARD GAME on the same page. With no rulebook and no product information published, this is the first time an official source has shown who is building this game's rules. We quote the listing verbatim and set it against the 24 revealed card texts to separate what it does and does not tell us.
- TCGplayer Opens NARUTO CARD GAME — Listings From September 22, Purchases From September 28. But the Only Things You Can Trade Are Already-Distributed Promos, and Nothing Is on Pre-Order YetTCGplayer's seller blog published "Now Available on TCGplayer: NARUTO CARD GAME" on September 22, 2026. Sellers can list from September 22 and customers can buy from September 28. What can actually be listed right now is limited to promotional cards handed out at Gen Con 2026 and Yankee Stadium — the product itself is still slated for Summer 2027. Here is the difference between "a marketplace opened" and "pre-orders started," using only what official primary sources confirm.
- PAX Aus 2026 Tutorial Sessions Switch to Advance Sign-Up on TCG+ — First-Come Registration Opens September 20 at 11:00 AEST, Playmat Now a Participant Raffle. NYCC Moves to Morning Tickets, the Three European Pages Now Say "To Be Announced"On September 19, 2026 the official English X account announced that registration for the PAX Aus 2026 Tutorial Sessions opens on September 20 at 11:00 AEST on BANDAI TCG+, first come, first served. The official event pages were rewritten without changing their dates: PAX Aus has gone from "on-site registration on the day" to advance sign-up on TCG+, and the official playmat from "sold at the booth to anyone" to a daily raffle among tutorial participants for the right to buy one. NYCC 2026 now uses tickets handed out each morning at the booth, and the three European pages now say the participation and purchase methods will be announced later. Here is a line-by-line comparison of what changed across all five pages.
- Before you apply for a NARUTO Teaching Session: the full BANDAI TCG+ face photo (facial recognition) guide — 9 eligible regions, 13 rejected photo types, two stated review periodsApplying for a NARUTO Card Game "Teaching Session" at BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 requires face photo registration in the BANDAI TCG+ app. We went to the source the city pages only link to: the official BANDAI TCG+ "Facial Recognition" help page. The face recognition feature covers exactly 9 regions, and all seven lottery cities sit inside them. Registration is a seven-step flow through a MOALA account, 13 kinds of photo are rejected, and the photo is valid for three years. The same page also gives two different answers on how long screening takes. The facial recognition review is described on the same page as taking "a few days" and "more than a week," so we also list, city by city, the date to start by so your profile is not still under review at the deadline. The same registration is required to apply for the Tokyo stop (February–March 2027).
- Three NARUTO Card Game Items Now Have a Published Price — Two Playmats and the CHAKRA Set; Starter Decks and Boosters Still Have None [Corrected Oct 22: "only one" was wrong][Corrected October 22, 2026] This article long stated that the only item with a published price was the official playmat. Since the official site published its Premier Demo Event page on October 13, 2026, the count has risen to three items. That statement is wrong as of today, and we have corrected the title, the key points and the stat tiles. The three are the Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027- (¥3,850 tax incl. / US$35 +tax / €42.90 VAT incl.), the Official Playmat -NARUTO VS. SASUKE- (¥3,850 tax incl., with US$40 and US$35.00 currently in conflict) and the Premium Card Collection vol.00 -CHAKRA set- (¥1,650 tax incl. / MSRP 20 USD). The three starter decks and the first booster pack, meanwhile, still have neither a price nor a sales format announced even after the June 2027 launch was confirmed. The body below is kept as a record of September 8, 2026, when only one item had a price, and sets out how the purchase methods differ.
- The CP-001 Chakra Card Now Has 28 Confirmed Give-Away Occasions — Brazil and Spain Bring It to 15 Countries and Regions, While Still Only 2 Carry a Version NameWe recounted every event that hands out a "CP-001 Chakra Card" using official primary sources only. As of November 7, 2026 the total is 28 occasions across 15 countries and regions, and 12 of them are in Japan. The "14 occasions, none in Japan" figure this article carried until October 14 changed when the Premier Demo Event confirmed all 11 Japanese venues (January 16 – March 21, 2027, with CP-001 as the participation gift) and Jump Festa 2027 added two routes (December 19-20, 2026), and CCXP 2026 (Brazil, December 3–6) and Manga Barcelona 2026 (Spain, December 5–8) were added on November 6.
